A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away…
Star Wars is an American epic space opera franchise centered on a film series created by George Lucas. The film series began with Star Wars, released on May 25, 1977. This was followed by two sequels: The Empire Strikes Back, released on May 21, 1980, and Return of the Jedi, released on May 25, 1983. The more than two decades after the release of the original film, the series continued with a prequel trilogy; consisting of Episode I: The Phantom Menace, released on May 19, 1999; Episode II: Attack of the Clones, released on May 16, 2002; and Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, released on May 19, 2005, Then Star Wars: The Force Awakens was released on December 18, 2015; Star Wars: The Last Jedi was released on December 18, 2017. Star Wars: The Last Jedi, released on December 18, 2017. And Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker was released on December 20, 2019.
Before the exciting events of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker! Hounded by the First Order across the galaxy, the Resistance is in dire need of ships, weapons and recruits to make a final stand against Kylo Ren’s forces. Desperation drives a delegation led by General Leia Organa and Rey to entreat the Rebel veteran’s one-time allies, The Mon Calamari, to join the fight – but decades after Imperial occupation enslaved their planet, there are those willing to stop at nothing to prevent another war from bloodying the waters of Mon Cala. A system away, Poe Dameron and Finn have their own mission: to hunt down a weapons cache on the remote moon of Avedot, unaware that they are being hunted by the most notorious criminal gang in the galaxy!
Story/Spoilers
In part #1, “An Old Hope”, Luke Skywalker is dead. But the Jedi Master’s sacrifice, as well as the sacrifices of many rebels, allowed what little remains of the noble Resistance to escape total annihilation at the hands of the evil First Order. Supreme Leader Kylo Ren will stop at nothing until the Resistance is crushed and the entire galaxy is subjugated. Now, General Leia Organa leads the last rebels – including Jedi-in-training REY and freedom fighters Poe Dameron, Rose Tico, Finn, the Wookiee Chewbacca and the droids C-3PO, R2-D2 and BB-8 – in what could be their final stand. Together, they hope to be the spark that will light the fire to burn the First Order away forever. But they stand alone. And without allies, it could be the flames of the rebellion that are about to be snuffed out….
A fleet of First Order Resurgent-class Star Destroyers, accompanying a Mandator IV-class Siege Dreadnought, arrives at Tah’Nuhna, an ice planet in the Mid Rim. Leading the armada is General Armitage Hux, who informs the leader of the Tah’Nuhna people that a Resistance transmission was traced to their planet. The Tah’Nuhna leader informs Hux that they are neutral, but always help those in need. In response, Hux orders his ships to open fire on the cities of the planet. Before the destruction is complete, the Tah’Nuhna leader sends a final transmission to inform anyone who can hear that Tah’Nuhna has fallen under attack by the First Order. On the garbage planet Anoat, Lieutenant Kaydel Ko Connix receives the transmission from Tah’Nuhna and rushes to tell General Leia Organa. C-3PO recalls that the Tah’Nuhna provided supplies to the Resistance after their escape from Crait, to which Leia responds that they paid the ultimate price for their kindness. General Jonato, overhearing this, informs Organa that the pollution on Anoat may have hidden the Resistance from the First Order’s long-range sensors, but it may not last much longer if the First Order traced them to Tah’Nuhna. C-3PO wants to prepare an evacuation plan, but Organa refuses, noting that if the Resistance wants to win, they need more ships, more weapons, and more personnel. Jonato updates Organa on current missions to achieve those goals, reminding her that Vi Moradi is searching for a more permanent base; Snap Wexley is leading a scout team to remote shipyards; and Poe Dameron and Finn are trying to acquire more weapons. Organa decides it’s time to do something she should have already done – not a mission, but a “friendly visit.” She asks Chewbacca to prepare the Millennium Falcon for departure, and asks C-3PO, Chewbacca, and Rose Tico to accompany her, over the objections of Jonato. Organa also wants to have Rey pilot the Falcon, believing Rey will appreciate a break from scavenging for spare generator parts. Rey, meanwhile, is fighting with an Anoatian pit beast. She muses to herself that she picked the fight with the creature, and is having trouble focusing as she attempts to use the Force to fling garbage at it and subsequently make a mental connection with it. The arrival of the Falcon scares the creature away, and Rey boards the ship, taking over the pilot’s seat. At the Wayward Comet refueling station, Finn is involved in a fight with a Dashade. Watching from a doorway nearby and wearing a cloak, Poe Dameron reprimands BB-8 for not staying out of trouble while Poe went to meet a contact. BB-8 beeps that it was not his fault, and Poe asks BB-8 to intervene. BB-8 trips the Dashade, creating a distraction that allows Finn to slip away and meet with Poe. Poe informs Finn that Poe’s contact came through. They now have the coordinates of a secret, decommissioned New Republic impound on the moon of Avedot, which is alleged to have a cache of weapons that were confiscated from pirates. Finn volunteers to get Norik and Oron from the supply depot and meet Poe at their shuttle in the hangar. As Finn leaves, he bumps into a person and, distracted, does not see the person change shape to reveal himself as the Clawdite Remex Io. Io recognizes Finn and uses a comlink to contact Kendoh Gang leader Kendoh Voss and ask about the size of the bounty on Finn. Voss, onboard a ship with Basso Mak and Wooro, tells Io to follow Finn back to Finn’s ship and place a tracker on it. Voss then contacts a lieutenant of the First Order, requesting to claim the bounty on Finn’s head. After conferring with General Hux on the Finalizer, who is pushed into chasing the sighting by Supreme Leader Kylo Ren, the lieutenant is ordered to authorize a down payment on the bounty and inform Voss of the consequences of their failure. The Millennium Falcon emerges from hyperspace at the planet Mon Cala, and lands in Dac City. Organa informs Rey and Chewbacca that they are there to honor an old debt to an old friend. As they disembark from the Falcon, they are detained by a security team composed of Mon Calamari and Quarren members, led by Nossor Ri. Ri threatens Organa and her crew, reminding Organa of all the death she has brought to the waters of Mon Cala, and asks why they should not kill her where she stands.
Next in part #2, “Troubled Waters”, Supreme Leader Kylo Ren leads the evil First Order in hunting what little remains of the valiant Resistance. Desperate for aid, General Leia Organa has taken Rey and Rose Tico to Mon Cala, where they seek the help of its inhabitants, the Quarren and Mon Calamari. Meanwhile, Finn and Poe Dameron plan to raid a lost weapons depot from an abandoned Republic base. That ordnance could be the spark that reignites the flame of rebellion. However, their efforts may be in vain as they’re tracked by a trio of bounty hunters – one of which is a villainous shapeshifter! Arriving at Mon Cala’s capital, Dac City, Leia and Rey hope to negotiate an alliance, adding Mon Calamari ships to the Resistance’s armada. Expecting to be welcomed with open arms, our heroes were shocked to be greeted at gunpoint by the city’s amphibious inhabitants!
Next in part #3, “Dark Side of the Moon”, General Leia Organa has traveled to Mon Cala to find aid for the Resistance’s fight against the evil First Order. Unfortunately for her, a Quarren adviser named Chadkol Gee spoke out against them, favoring an isolationist policy following the death of his family at the hands of the Empire. While on their mission to recover lost ordnance, Finn and Poe Dameron were attacked by a band of ruthless bounty hunters. Separated from Poe in the initial ambush, Finn now finds himself trapped in his ship on the Moon of Avedot. Back on Mon Cala, tensions boiled over when Rey and Rose were attacked by Quarren on the streets of Dac City. Meanwhile, Chadkol Gee concocted a devious plot to get rid of Leia and her Resistance fighters – by offering their location to the First Order….
Finally in part #4, “A Rising Tide”, In desperate need of aid to fight the evil First Order, Resistance General Leia Organa traveled to Mon Cala to recruit her old Rebellion allies into the fight. But some of Nossor Ri and Chadkol Gee’s isolationist Quarren attacked Leia’s group, and Rey, Rose and Chewie were arrested. The only way to regain their freedom – trial by combat. Meanwhile, on the Moon of Avedot, Resistance fighters Finn and Poe Dameron were after weapons to arm the dwindling Resistance but were ambushed by a trio of merciless bounty hunters, intent on taking Finn to the First Order. Locked in battle with Chadkol’s security droid, Rey gained the upper hand. That is until the droid turned on the trial’s spectators. Rose stepped in to help Rey, in turn breaking a sacred rule and exiling them all from the watery world. But before they could leave a Quarren dropped off a mysterious container – which exploded…
