In part #1, In an alternate-reality Japan, the masked female assassin known as Kabuki battles her former comrades in the Noh, who consider her a rogue. Kabuki is interviewed by a doctor at the Control Corps Hospital about her life so far.

Next in part #2, While following Akemis lead, Kabuki reveals more about her traumatic childhood.

Next in part #3, Akemi takes Kabuki on a tour of the Hospital; meanwhile, the Siamese are still looking for Kabuki.

Next in part #4, Akemi reveals her past, and leads Kabuki in an escape attempt that goes horribly wrong.

Next in part #5, With Akemi down and the Siamese at hand, Kabuki takes on the Hospital guards.

Next in part #6, Recaptured after her escape attempt, Kabuki learns the fate of Akemi, and that she is still in danger from the Noh.

Next in part #7, Just as Kabuki is on the verge of a psychological breakthrough, the Noh assassins make their move.

Next in part #8, Kabuki battles the Noh assassins in the Hospital, as the ongoing Kabuki storyline that started with Skin Deep reaches a turning point.
