This is Hayashi Kato, who was portrayed by Bruce Lee in the sixties Green Hornet television show.

Story/Spoilers
In issue #1, “Journey of a Thousand Miles!”, Kato’s phenomenal ability in the martial arts inspires the Communist government to use Kato as an actor in one of its propaganda films. Of course, Kato wants none of this, but he quickly finds out that he has no other choice but to comply.

Next in issue #2, “Enter the Cat”, Kato battles his age-old enemy, Colonel Cat NG.

Next in issue #3, “Greater Glory”, Cat NG and the rest of the people’s Republic think that Kato has joined the Communist party. But what does Kato really have planned?
