The Green Hornet’s sidekick, Hayashi Kato’s second mini-series. Kato is brought into a world of drugs, sex, and violence as he protects a capricious rock star from repeated assassination attempts. Kato shows his capabilities as an adventure hero independent of the Green Hornet. Both Green Hornet fandom and martial arts fandom find a common meeting point here. This is Hayashi Kato, who was portrayed by Bruce Lee in the sixties Green Hornet television show.

Mike Baron delivers an important message about personal responsibility along with well-choreographed fight scenes that are perfectly illustrated by Val Mayerik.

Story/Spoilers
In issue #1, “Bad Boy”, After a failed assassination attempt on the world-famous rock star, Sragow, Kato is enlisted to be “extra” security. Kato and Sragow clash on how security should be cared out. Later Sragrow becomes Kato’s disciple… and it could not have been sooner as a gang of thugs follows up on another assassination attempt. Something nefarious is going on and its more than meets the eye.

Finally in issue #2, “Karthage Must Be Destroyed”, Kato goes to battle to protect Sragow, the capricious rock star, from assassins!
