Laurel & Hardy Issue #1
“Labor Daze”
Laurel and Hardy sit on a park bench and lament that they have no money and they are hungry. A policeman runs them off. They decide that they need to get jobs and stop into a construction company that is hiring. They get the job and hijinks ensue, then they lose the job. Next, Hardy talks Laurel in to fighting the boxing champ, Killer Long, for $1000.00. Rushing to the fight, they greatly disrespect a man in the hallway… once in the Ring, they discover that it was Killer Long that they greatly disrespected, and he wants revenge. Boxing hijinks ensue and Laurel wins the match. Laurel receives the $1000.00 check (but it is a fake check from the dishonest boxing promoters) and he and Hardy decide to go to a fancy restaurant to have a big fancy meal with all the trimmings. The restaurant manager notices that the check is fake and has Laurel and Hardy arrested. They go the State Prison and suffer, but escape. Hardy is injured during the escape and Laurel comes to visit him with some nuts. With no nutcracker hijinks ensue.

Laurel & Hardy Issue #2
“Rest & Relaxation”
Laurel and Hardy are going on a two-week cruise and looking forward to some Rest & Relaxation. When boarding the ship, Laurel loses the luggage overboard and loses the boarding tickets that where in the luggage. Laurel and Hardy end up having to work on the ship to pay for their cruise. While cleaning, Hardy accidentally knocks over the Captain. The Captain calls for Hardy to be thrown in the brig, So Laurel and Hardy run away and hide in a rowboat. After hours go by they get hungry and go looking for food. They find a table set full of food and sit to eat. The Captain shows up and says, “What!? Stealing my lunch? You’ll rot in the brig for this!” Laurel and Hardy make a run for it back to the rowboat and cast off. As the cruise ship is leaving them behind with no land in sight for thousands of miles, a shark attacks them. Luckily, they see an island and barely make it ashore. They look for food and find shelter. The shelter is a cave… that has a big angry gorilla in it. The gorilla chases Laurel and Hardy to the top of a volcano. Just and the angry gorilla attacks, the volcano erupts sending Laurel and Hardy skyward on a piece of Earth. The falling piece of Earth lands on the cruise ship… right on the Captain’s dinner table. Laurel and Hardy find themselves in the ship’s brig when Laurel says”… I found them in my pocket.” The ship’s boarding passes.
“Big Brothers”
Laurel and Hardy want to be a part of an event called Big Brother Week, where you take a kid to the Fair. They find two kids and invite them to the fair. The kids resist at first but ask if their friends can come also. Laurel says certainly and the kids invite many other kids. Hardy laments that he has to spend all the money. Once inside the Fair, the kids run off. Hardy becomes frantic trying to locate them. Laurel gets tricked into buying hotdogs… when he doesn’t have any money. After many more hijinks within the Fair, Hardy says enough is enough… and puts them all on the Merry-Go-Round for an hour.
