Detective Frank Aaron serves on the Blackstone City police department. His partner, Dan, knows that he is a werewolf and together they keep his true nature secret from his fellow officers, although another werewolf in town might make that difficult. In the meantime, Frank is undergoing treatments and trying to gain access to a mysterious Special Division in the department that deals with superhuman cases.

Story/Spoilers
In issue #1, Frank Aaron is a cop in Blackstone with a dark secret as he does his job hoping he does not do more harm than good. Frank and his partner, Dan Whitman, are assigned to a stakeout of a deal between unknown characters. Outlaw Frank Aaron, a police officer in Blackstone City, carries a curse in the form of severe Lycanthropy – Frank is a werewolf. Sharing the secret of his plight with Dr. Carl Sanchez and his homicide partner Daniel Whitman, Frank hopes to control or end his curse in order to join “The Special Division” which deals in superhuman and paranormal cases to help those like himself.

Next in issue #2, Frank and Dan recover from the last assignment. Another detective is assigned to the case. Another werewolf is discovered in Blackstone City, and the connection to Detective Dan becomes self-evident. His secret is out in the open and his friends rally to his side as they try to find a cure for his lycanthropy. Just as things seem to be going their way, life throws them a deadly curve in the road ahead. Who will survive, and who will perish? Find out in this exciting chapter of Lethal Instinct!

Next in issue #3, Frank survives the car’s plunge into the river and chases after the driver of the other car. The gang’s boss, Joshua, continues his mysterious activities. Frank escapes a death-defying plunge into the river by the skin of his Lycan teeth and gives chase to the culprit who ran him off the road, only to end up face-to-face with Steven and his posse of armed thugs! Back in the forest, Ingrid and Josh plan their entrance into the nefarious ‘Club D’. Plus, a new menace arrives in the form of a bounty hunter who specializes in hunting werewolves.

Next in issue #4, His life hanging by a thread after a complicated surgery, Frank’s mind and body are in bitter conflict as his Lycan traits threaten to extinguish his humanity. Joe is in despair as his duties at the department overwhelm him, while at the same time he tries to find out what happened to Dan. Frank Aaron gets control of his life and the search continues for a missing cop.

Next in issue #5, Frank and the Captain intensify the search for a missing cop. A clue is discovered which begins to bear fruit. The gang’s boss continues his experiments and Detective Ingrid Jensen has to choose sides. While Frank and Joe intensify their search for Dan, Josh uses the powers of the black crystal on Dan! Meanwhile, Ingrid finally decides which side she will choose, but has her decision come too late?

Finally in issue #6, In this finale of Lethal Instinct, Frank has a showdown with the gang’s boss, Joshua, and the police search for the missing cop. Joe and Frank receive an anonymous call with instructions about where Dan can be found, while Steve begins an investigation of his own. Furius (Josh) has waited long enough, and he finally confronts the other Werewolf (Frank). Can there be a winner to this bloody battle?
