He’s arguably one of the most influential men in America today. He’s inarguably the evilest. His name is Lex Luthor…and whatever Luthor wants, Luthor gets – even if it’s the life of a man who threatens his privacy. But it’s Clark Kent who’s arrested for the brutal murder of down-and-out biographer Peter Sands, a man who hoped to climb back to the top with The Unauthorized Biography Of Lex Luthor.

Story/Spoilers
Down-and-out writer Peter Sands desperately needed a big story in order to pay his bills. He thought he had hit the jackpot when a publisher asked him to write the unauthorized biography of Lex Luthor. The ruthless Luthor, however, was sure to object, as the unfortunate Sands quickly discovered. Luthor’s rise in the crime world dated back to his childhood, and the few people who knew Luthor’s secrets were afraid to reveal them. Sands eventually persuaded them to discuss Luthor’s past, but not even Superman could save him when Luthor found out about Sands’ investigation. All it got him was dead. What are the secrets of his past that Luthor is willing to kill for…secrets that the merciless criminal mastermind wants kept dead and buried?
