It’s hard to imagine a less sympathetic character than Lobo. He’s ugly, rude, amoral, murderous, and relishes just about every vice and bad habit known to man or alien. First appearing in Omega Men #3, he’s always been a villain, and he shows no sign of redemption. In this new series, Lobo is a bounty hunter out to bring in another ultra-violent alien named Loo. Loo kills Lobo, but that’s not about to calm Lobo down. When he’s sent to Heaven, he causes so much trouble that they try to throw him out…but Hell doesn’t want him either. When they’re forced to take him anyway, they have to give him back to Heaven because Lobo’s having too much fun in Hell. Reluctantly, Heaven decides to reincarnate Lobo, although they make one or two physical changes…

Story/Spoilers
In issue #1, “The Final Fragdown”, This time, Lobo’s taken a job as a skip-tracer, courtesy of his old friend Ramona, the skip-tracing hairdresser who’s set him on the trail of his bounty, Loo. That’s Loo, the self-proclaimed “baddest bastich in the galaxy”… who may just be a match for Lobo himself. Yeah, right! Lobo’s Back is a pulse-pounding, action-packed bonanza of violence, hilarity and more violence!

Next in issue #2, “Heaven Is…A 4-Letter Word”, Lobo, who fought to the death in issue #1, rampages his way through the afterlife until he is reincarnated as a… woman? Boy, are the guys going to rib him or what?

Next in issue #3, “If the Jackboot Fits…! “, Lobo’s reincarnation as Bimbo doesn’t last long as he, er… she is killed, only to be reincarnated yet again as a higher life form…a squirrel. A squirrel?

Finally in issue #4, “The War In Heaven”, Lobo’s back… reincarnation-wise, that is. Finally, he’s Lobo again and takes revenge on Loo and his hidden brother Feecees, the former baddest bastiches in space.
