Lost in Space was an American science fiction television series, created and produced by Irwin Allen, which originally aired between 1965 and 1968. The series follows the adventures of the Robinsons, a pioneering family of space colonists who struggle to survive in the depths of space. The Robinsons were to have been the first family in space, accompanied by Major West and Robby the Robot. Unfortunately, the duplicitous Dr. Smith brought catastrophe on the crew, sending them spinning out of control into the far reaches of space. Ironically, Dr. Smith was trapped aboard the Jupiter 2 with the rest of the crew. Everyone has plenty of time to chew Smith out as they try to find their way back home.

Now Innovation continues the adventures of the Robinsons, the first family in space. The Lost in Space comic series presents more far-out adventures on a variety of strange worlds. Unfortunately, Dr. Smith seems not to have learned from his mistakes, and his greedy, cowardly nature never fails to lead the crew into trouble.
