Editors: Joan Weis & Geoffrey White

Married… With Children is an American sitcom that aired for 11 seasons that ran from April 5, 1987, to June 9, 1997. It featured a dysfunctional family living in a fictional Chicago suburb. The show follows the lives of Al Bundy, a once glorious high school football player turned hard-luck women’s shoe salesman; his obnoxious wife, Peggy; their attractive, promiscuous, and clueless daughter, Kelly; and their girl-crazy, wisecracking son, Bud.
“Passion and Lust… or Death-Spa from Hell!”
Writer: Todd S. Tuttle
Artist: Tom Richmond
Colorists: Todd S. Tuttle, Andrea Albert & Holly Sanfelippo
Inker: David Mowry
Letterer: Todd S. Tuttle
Peggy Bundy steals money from each family member to fund a spa vacation for herself. Before she boards the bus, she buys a romance novel to help pass time. The resort is not what she expects and ends up being more of a women’s boot camp. The living conditions are nasty and the instructors are cruel. Peggy uses the romance novel as a form of escapism, often slipping into daydreams of a hot romance beyond her wildest dreams. Eventually, she gets fed up with how she’s getting treated. She steals the bus that brought her there, scoops up as many women as she could, and drives to the nearest fast-food joint to have a greasy feast.

James Bond Spoof starring Al Bundy with spoof appearances by the Man with the Golden Gun, Assassin for hire – Jaws, and MI6 Inventor – Q.
Story/Spoilers
Al Bundy is hiding from work in the restroom reading a spy novel. The novel puts him in a spy mentality where he then misinterprets a woman asking about shoes to be some sort of encoded message. The woman drops something, which he quickly picks up but is not able to return it to her. Going off of her shoe question, Al Bundy creates an entire schizophrenic scenario where he is on a mission to save the world. He goes around town following “leads” and getting nowhere. It is eventually revealed that the thing he picked up was just some undeveloped film. He returns it to the woman and her husband. When he gets home after his crazy day, his wife is also just now returning from her female boot camp experience.
