Married… With Children is an American sitcom that aired for 11 seasons that ran from April 5, 1987, to June 9, 1997. It featured a dysfunctional family living in a fictional Chicago suburb. The show follows the lives of Al Bundy, a once glorious high school football player turned hard-luck women’s shoe salesman; his obnoxious wife, Peggy; their attractive, promiscuous, and clueless daughter, Kelly; and their girl-crazy, wisecracking son, Bud.

NOW Comics presents, “Married… With Children: Buck’s Tale”. A one-shot special featuring the dog from the hit sitcom. The story of how Buck joined the Bundy family is finally revealed as a riches-to-rags tale. Beginning life as a pampered poodle pup right out of Lady and the Tramp, he falls on hard times; just when it seems things cant get any worse, he meets the Bundys.

Story/Spoilers
In “Buck’s Tale“, Buck is the family dog for the Bundy’s, the focus of TV’s Married…With Children. Although he’s just a dog (and a mutt one at that), he often seem to have more brains than the entire Bundy family. In this one-shot special, we finally get Buck’s story, a riches-to-rags story in the style of Lady and the Tramp. Buck was born to Fergie, a pure-bred poodle from the nice part of town and a hound named Stewart from the poor side. Fergie had given birth to a litter of young poodles, from which Buck stood out like a sore thumb. The next thing young Buck knew, he had been booted out to the street, rejected by his father, and nearly killed by a pack of canines whose territory he’d strayed onto. Then, just when it seemed his luck couldn’t get any worse he encountered a young Bud and Kelly Bundy who adopted him as part of a plan to scam free food from restaurants. Cursed from birth, Buck had little choice but to live with them…
