Married… With Children is an American sitcom that aired for 11 seasons that ran from April 5, 1987, to June 9, 1997. It featured a dysfunctional family living in a fictional Chicago suburb. The show follows the lives of Al Bundy, a once glorious high school football player turned hard-luck women’s shoe salesman; his obnoxious wife, Peggy; their attractive, promiscuous, and clueless daughter, Kelly; and their girl-crazy, wisecracking son, Bud.

NOW Comics presents, “Married… With Children: Off Broadway”. Another one-shot special based on the hit sitcom. Kelly plots revenge on the girl who stole her coveted part in the school play. But Bud is infatuated with the girl and working on the stage crew, complicating her plans.

Story/Spoilers
Chaos reigns in the Bundy household as Kelly auditions for a role in the school play. Unfortunately, rival Mary gets the starring role, and all Kelly can get is a bit part as a blade of grass. Her only line: “Awk! Awk! Here come the wombats!” Needless to say, Kelly is miffed. Meanwhile, Bud has joined the stage crew, just so he can be close to his newest unrequited love, Mary. Although she refers to him as “whelp” and treats him like an errand boy, Bud swears he’ll protect her to the death. So when Kelly plots her revenge, she’s got to go through Bud to do it!
