The Micronauts are comic books featuring a group of characters based on the Mego Micronauts toy line. The first title was published by Marvel Comics in 1979, with both original characters and characters based on the toys. Marvel published two Micronauts series, mostly written by Bill Mantlo, until 1986, well after the toy line was cancelled in 1980. In the 2000s, Image Comics and Devil’s Due Publishing each briefly published their own Micronauts series. Byron Preiss Visual Publications also published three paperback novels based on the Micronauts. In July 2015, IDW Publishing began their Micronauts run.

And now, IDW Publishing presents the Complete 3D Box Set for Micronauts Issue #1. This edition contains 5 copies of issue #1, all with different covers. The covers are by David Baldeon, J.H. Williams, and Gabriel Rodriguez. As well as that, the Classic Action Figure photo cover is also included in this set. And finally, there is a special exclusive 3D version of the J.H. Williams cover, which is unavailable anywhere else! 3D glasses are included! All these comics are factory sealed and encased in a slipcase/box with a virgin version of David Baldeon’s front cover.

Story/Spoilers
In issue #1, They came from a dying universe! Acroyear, Space Glider, Biotron and their allies are back, on the run from the evil Baron Karza, and blasting through a universe where magic and science vie for control! With resources dwindling, the long-lost time travelers may hold the key to salvation… but will it mean armageddon for our world?
