In “The Night of Red Ruin!”, On the back streets of Pandona, a young girl, Delia, was trying to avoid a beating by her uncle. Delia sought the help of a robed stranger. The stranger intervened, and in a short scuffle with Delia’s uncle he displayed tremendous fighting skills. Delia followed the stranger through the city of Pandona to the palace of the House Dracus, home of the Overlord. Here the robed stranger revealed himself as Master Sun, the sensei of the Amita K’un. The Amita K’un were the elite fighting unit of the Overlord, responsible for protecting their Lord, spying on the other Houses, and assassinating enemies. Master Sun announced that Delia had fulfilled a prophecy and she would become his next pupil. After ten years of rigorous mental and physical conditioning, Delia completed her training. Casting away her old life, she became Nightwind, the newest member of the Amita K’un and a tool of the Overlord. While the Amita K’un performed the secret rituals of accepting a new member, Nightwind was sent outside to meditate on her new identity. Yet, treachery was astir in the House Dracus. While the Amita K’un performed their secret ceremonies, the Blood Guards of the House Eichon were preparing to invade the House Dracus. Only Nightwind and a handful of palace guards could prevent the death of the Overlord! So our tale begins…

A foreshadowing chill follows the Amita K’un back to Pandona, where the Lords of rival houses bicker and boil amid news of the pact between House Dracus and Lord Tarrus. At House Dracus, Lord Kitaya has announced that Mara will be exiled. Despite Kalkin’s angry protest, Mara is left beyond the city walls. There he is met by Ashikaga. So our tale begins…
