This 64-page, perfect-bound comic book presents the stunning work of world-renown storyteller, Phillipe Druillet. Originally published in France, Nosferatu is the tale of a post-apocalyptic Earth where the last vampire stalks the victims of a “society” gone insane. The cover art to this volume features an evocative graphic design by the artist, which is enhanced by a special, three-color printing process employing black, white, and silver.
Story/Spoilers
Nosferatu is an inhabitant of a post-apocalyptic world in which there are no more people, except for his “conspecifics”, consisting of monsters and mutants. Nosferatu is lonely, and after losing his injured partner Imma, he sinks into a deep existential crisis. He soon after befriends a doll named Lilit to fill in the void. Later, Lilit is “killed” by some mutants. After days of wandering, he encounters a swarm of flying creatures that appear similar to him. He stays with them for some time before an immense monster appears and annihilates his “flock” of flying friends. Eventually, Nosferatu achieves a stronger form, one that allows him to finally leave the devastated earth.
