Story/Spoilers
In issue #1, Nuclear War’ examines a near-future post-apocalyptic world where the ‘secret powers’ which control the world move into the spotlight to ‘take over’! This issue begins with graphic depictions of the nuclear holocaust which follow a sneak ‘hydrogen bomb’ attack upon the United States! America is destroyed Russia and China move to occupy the 50 states and small bands of survivors escape to the ‘hinterlands’ to preserve American culture until the day they can fight back!

Next in issue #2, This second issue features the ‘freebooters’. Bands of heavily armed thieves and killers which wander the cities and countryside stealing all they can to survive. Can humanity stand against such brutality?

Collectible Entertainment comment: Nuclear War! (2000) is an ill-fated title that was originally to have run for four issues instead of just the two that were published and is therefore an incomplete story…. Nonetheless, it is still recommended for the “Atomic Mushroom Cloud” enthusiast… It’s good stuff.
