This one sends up Valiant Comics’ character, X-O Man O’ War.X-O Manowar is the name of the most powerful of a line of alien armors. Although the X-O Commando and other armors are formidable indeed, the wearer of the X-O Manowar becomes one of the most powerful beings in the universe. But there’s more: the X-O Manowar armor is more than mere technology – it’s actually alive…sentient.

X-O Manowar is a superhero in the Valiant Universe. He is Aric of Dacia, a 5th Century Visigoth warrior who was abducted by a race of aliens called Spider Aliens in Valiant Comics and The Vine in Valiant Entertainment, respectively, who are attempting to wage war on planet Earth. Aric manages to escape by stealing their most powerful weapon, the X-O Manowar Armor of the name Shanhara, and returns to Earth. However, due to the nature of space-travel he finds that over 1,600 years have passed and everyone he knows is gone. He now has to adjust to the modern world and to the sentient armor’s abilities and knowledge.

Now Spoof Comics gives us a “what if” parody scenario… this time, the all-mighty extraterrestrial armor finds its way into the hooves of an unsuspecting bovine. And a new superhero legend is born.

Story/Spoilers
While on a drive, an unsuspecting cow encounters a crashing spaceship. At the crash site the cow discovers a dying space bovine who tells the tale of a distant galaxy, where cruel creatures known as The Digestors enslave bovines, taking milk and killing for meat. The space bovine further explains that he stole a device, a prototype of The Digester’s secret weapon and wants the cow to take it. The cow grabs the secret weapon, a bottle of elixir, and flees the crash site just as it explodes. Later, at home, the cow puts the bottled secret weapon in the refrigerator and settles in with his family. The Digestors show up, startling the cow from his sleep and they take his family hostage demanding the return of their secret weapon. In an effort to save his endangered family, the cow goes to retrieve the bottled secret weapon for The Digestors when the bottle breaks a liquid super golden armor encompasses the cow. The cow quickly learns that the armor has a mini-computer and it teaches him everything about the armor. The cow has now become OX Cow O’ War, let the battle against The Digestors rage on…
