While our hero got a bit lost for awhile among the clones and the alien symbiotes, this title restores him to his proper place in the Marvel Universe.

In part #1, Banking machines, traffic lights and everything electrical are going haywire in NYC! So whose face appears atop a skyscraper in Times Square, and what is his message for Spider-Man? And when the web-slinger battles his way to the nerve center of a spooky building, what horrifying truth will he uncover?

Finally in part #2, A flashback has five-year-old May witnessing her father perfom euthanasia on one of her paternal uncles, striving to let the ailing man die with dignity. May narrates the tale to Peter and implies she expects him to do the same when her time comes. Peter does not want to even think about it.

Peter Parker: Spider-Man Issues #30-34

In part #1, The Web-Slinger faces off against a new foe who is stronger than him, faster than him, smarter than him, and who is also fueled by a bottomless hatred of him!

Next in part #2, The new villain named Fusion, who has the ability to absorb any hero’s power, also has a deep burning hatred for Spider-Man! If Spidey wants to survive, he must find the kink in Fusion’s formidable armor, that is, if he even has one!

Next in part #3, A helpless Spider-Man is brought to Fusion’s lair, where he learns exactly who his strange new foe is, as well as the true scope of his powers.

Next in part #4, On the anniversary of Uncle Ben’s death, the web-slinger heads where he always does: the Ballpark. There he’ll reminisce about the man whose words formed the mantra of his life, and about the day when fate dropped out of the sky and landed on young Peter Parker’s head… literally!

Finally in part #5, With great power there must also come great responsibility, but what if one does not want the power in the first place? Spider-Man faces off against such an individual, when a new foe takes it upon himself to cleanse the city…
