Description
Pinky and the Brain #3: Verminator Comic
Editor: Robert Graff
Cover by: Walter Carzon & Omar Aranda
Taken from the successful cartoon show Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain are two lab mice. One was given a vast intellect and the other is insane, and the comic continues the plot of the cartoon, with Brain trying to take over the world. This has a much more subtle humor than its sister title Animaniacs, which makes it better suited to a comic medium.
Although the Animaniacs are aimed squarely at the pre-teen crowd, their occasional co-stars Pinky and the Brain have a more devilishly adult sensibility. Pinky is a punked-out goofball of a mouse, but his partner, the Brain has a definite goal for life: to take over the world. To that end, he puts his incredible brain power to work to launch scheme after scheme. He’s a megalomaniac, but sort of endearing in his own way.
Pinky and the Brain Issue #3 contains:
“Verminator” 12 pages
Writers: Dana Kurtin & Dan Slott
Artist: Walter Carzon
Inker: Mike Decarlo
Colorist: Dave Tanguay
Letterer: John Costanza
In the future, human variants of Pinky and Brain called “Bunky and Jane” are living in a Brain controlled dystopia. They plan on sending back a cyborg to assassinate him. When the cyborg from the future interrupts tonight’s plan to take over the world, Brain realizes it can mean only one thing: one day, the world will be his! That is, if he and Pinky can survive being hunted by “The Verminator.”

“The 7th Wife of Henry the 8th” 12 pages
Writer: Jesse Leon McCann
Artist: Walter Carzon
Inker: Mike Decarlo
Colorist: Jo Meugniot
Letterer: John Constanza
Pinky and the Brain disguise themselves as women in order to trick an old, drunk king into marrying Brain, giving him power as the Queen of England. Everything goes according to plan until on their wedding day, Pink gets flicked, flying into Brain, destroying his wedding gown. The king loses interest and leaves, and Pinky and the Brain are left to ponder what to do for the next night.
