Covers by: Agustin Padilla
From tropical islands to desert mountains, the hunt is on! Predators-the hunters from the stars-have been coming to Earth since time immemorial, stalking and killing the strongest, most challenging humans for sport. But now the tables are turning as a team of human hunters set their sights on the Predators-wherever they may be found. Only the strongest and smartest will survive!
Story/Spoilers
In issue #1, From the islands of the South Pacific to the mountains of Afghanistan, the Hunters go wherever the Predators appear-even it’s in a warzone and into conflict with a mysterious government group hunting the same prey! Despite the casualties suffered during their fist mission, the Predator Hunters are on the prowl again!
Bloodshed, Brutality, Carnage… the scent of war brings the Predator to the mountains of Afghanistan – and the self-styled Predator Hunters are not far behind. Even though their last encounter with the extraterrestrials left many of their number dead, the Hunters can’t ingnore the fresh blood in the sand. A new war on terror has begun…
Next in issue #2, A reconnaissance mission in Afghanistan turns into a deadly three-way game of cat-and-mouse as the Hunters track a Predator-and attempt to avoid a government-sponsored team after the same prey!
The Hunter Team has arrived in Afghanistan, drawn by proof of recent Predator activity. But they’re not the only ones. As the team passes through a village in the foothills of the Hindu Kusk, team leader Jaya Soames spots a familiar, troubling face near the scene of the Predator’s last attack. Meanwhile, the Predator has its sights set on some new targets…
Next in issue #3, Afghanistan is called the ‘Graveyard of Empires,’ but it may also soon be the graveyard of the Hunters when they go up against a Predator who has honed its skills fighting the jihadi and U.S. forces!
The Predator Hunters Team is in Afghanistan, searching for a Predator they know to be operating in the area. Unfortunately, the locals – who view the Predator, or djinn, as a protector – refuse to help. That is, until the Hunters meet Atal, a young orphan who has seen firsthand the effects of warfare and the Predator. He agrees to help them find the creature. The recruitment of Atal is interrupted by the sighting of a low-flying drone, and Jaya Soames is forced to admit to the rest of the team that they are not the only ones hunting the Predator…
Finally in issue #4, A botched ambush, a futile stand-off, and a desperate retreat lead to a final one-on-one battle with the Predator in the cold darkness of the Afghan night. In the aftermath, the Hunters deal with a painful parting-and an unexpected reunion! Predator action from start to finish!
In Afghanistan, a heavily armed Stargazer strike force has been all but wiped out in a failed attempt to kill or capture a Predator. But Jaya Soames’ Hunters team has information Stargazer didn’t, and they have set an ambush at the Predator’s base of operations. All they need is for every single thing to go exactly as planned…
