Ralph Snart and company were created by Marc Hansen. Ralph Snart is a beer-guzzling everyman whose bizarre adventures take place in his own mind. His dream state is induced by the evil experiments of the diabolical Dr. Goot. Ralph Snart’s brain is sought by the arch-villain, Dr. Goot. Ralph’s insanity takes the form of delusional fantasies, mostly consisting of drinking beer, that provide sub-plot respites from the main plot: Dr. Goot’s eternal quest to use Ralph’s brain for his own evil ends. Ralph Snart frequently escapes the painful realities of his life by daydreaming himself into incredible and often bizarre adventures with other absurd characters. All characters are depicted as grotesque and ugly, with bulbous noses and bulging eyes.

NOW Comics presents the return of Ralph Snart, whose subconscious was once the locale of fantastic adventures. Now married with kids, Ralph finds himself with an annoyingly normal life, until his old enemy Dr. Goot escapes from prison with a new plan for exploiting Snart’s bizarre brain.

Story/Spoilers
In issue #1A, “Mind Games – Part 1”, Ralph is perfectly sane and settled down with wife and kids and all is well until Dr. Goot escapes from a maximum-security prison. Will the ensuing chaos drive Ralph insane once more?

Next in issue #2A, “Mind Games – Part 2”, A reality cop show conceals Dr. Goots most twisted plan yet, and the only one who can save Ralph Snart is…Mr. Lizard?! Dr. Goot taps Ralph’s brain to learn his secrets, while in dreamland, Ralph stars in a reality TV show as Crackhead Man causing mass destruction.

Finally in issue #3A, “Mind Games – Part 3”, Mr. Lizard rescues Ralph from an enraged mob and the mysterious Rubiks cube of Madam Orkle, but not from the greatest danger of all: money. Mr. Lizard saves Ralph from Dr. Goot. Now the rush is on to save Ralph as his brain begins to evaporate. Lots of beer may cure him, but is it too late?
