Wrath of the Gods explores the mysteries of Sonja’s past, while presenting her with the malicious threat of Loki in the present! Can Thor, the God of Thunder, and Odin, the All-Father, aid the warrior woman and prevent their fellow god from destroying the world?

Story/Spoilers
In issue #1, Red Sonja meets a boy named Gamble who claims to be part of some outcast tribe. He claims that Sonja, by virtue of her red hair, must also be a part of the same tribe. After a confrontation with a blonde warrior woman and the payment of one big ruby, Sonja is convinced to follow Gamble to his secret homeland far in the north. After while they wind up in a cave, and Gamble explains this was the only way to his homeland is by riding an underground river and they eventually wind up at a sealed-up city. Everyone in the city is scared with a whole horde of monsters breaking down the city gates and demanding the magic book that Gamble is carrying.

Next in issue #2, With the aid of Odin, the All-Father, and Thor, God of Thunder, Red Sonja battle Loki, the God of Tricks, at the besieged city in the fabled land of Hyboria.

Next in issue #3, Red Sonja is worn down to the point where Loki is able to take her captive! Will she survive the trickster’s dark embrace? Will Thor and Gamble succeed in creating a weapon to end the madness and face the power of Odin! Find out in this issue!

Next in issue #4, Red Sonja continues her life-or-death battle with Loki, the Prince of Lies as Odin, the All-Father makes his move and Thor, son of Odin and brother of Loki, fights back-to-back with the She-devil with the fate of the very world at stake!

Finally in issue #5, Will Red Sonja, Thor and Gamble be able to take down both Loki and Odin, the All-Father? Find out in the senses-shattering conclusion of Wrath of the Gods!
