Blackthorne Publishing presents another issue in its series of 3D comics, (#32) this one featuring a Three-Dimensional take on Harveys most famous characters, Casper the Ghost and Richie Rich. The friendly ghost and the richest boy in the world join forces against Dr. Frankenspook, who has weaponized silliness with his Switcherooray. This Special 3-D comic features the three-dimensional stories, Buy Back The Sun!, Dazzle the Wizard, Return of the Mysterious Dr. Frankenspook, Funny Monsters, Funny Schemes, & Funny Dreams.

“Buy Back The Sun!”   5 pages 

Richie Rich and his Dad are concerned about an unnatural solar eclipse. Meanwhile, Casper’s mean ghost companions use the darkness to go out on a scare raid. Wendy comes to visit Casper and tells him about an evil wizard called, the Wizard of Darkness, that cast a spell which has caused the unnatural solar eclipse. And that the evil wizard wants a ransom for the sunlight to come back. Wendy and Casper consult a magic crystal ball for a solution, and the crystal ball shows them Richie Rich. Casper jumps into the crystal ball to go visit Richie Rich. Continued in the next story…

“Dazzle the Wizard”   5 pages 

Casper shows up in Richie Rich’s mom’s crystal earring. When alone with Richie, Casper explains about the Wizard of Darkness and the unnatural solar eclipse and how the evil wizard wants the most valuable object in the world as a ransom for the sunlight. Richie thinks he’s dreaming. Richie says that the most valuable object in the world is the, “Oomagoomi Diamond” that even dazzles in the dark. So, Richie Rich and Casper, with the help of Wendy’s magic broom, take the “Oomagoomi Diamond” to the Wizard of Darkness. The evil wizard is pleased, but when he looks at the brilliance of the diamond, he drops it on – and breaks the “Mirror of Darkness” which ends the spell of the unnatural solar eclipse. Both Richie Rich and Casper rejoice in the return of the sunlight.

“Return of the Mysterious Dr. Frankenspook”   5 pages 

Return of the Mysterious Dr. Frankenspook Part 1. Richie Rich, Gloria, and Reggie are outside drawing and Reggie draws a funny picture of Richie. Gloria is offended, but Richie says it’s million-dollar drawing. An evil vulture overhears and goes to Dr. Frankenspook to tell him about the money. Casper follows the vulture to Dr. Frankenspook’s hideout. Dr. Frankenspook uses a teleporter to bring Richie Rich, Gloria, and Reggie to his hideout and wants to know who is the the billion-dollar artist. Casper tries to warn Richie. Reggie is selected as the billion-dollar artist while Richie Rich and Gloria are locked up. Continued in the next story…

“Funny Monsters”   5 pages 

Return of the Mysterious Dr. Frankenspook Part 2. It’s diabolical… Reggie draws super silly caricatures of anything and Dr. Frankenspook uses his evil “Switcherooray” to turn whatever is photographed into actual silly caricature of what Reggie has drawn. So, Reggie draws a super silly caricature of Casper and hands it to Casper, then Dr. Frankenspook takes a picture of Casper holding the drawing using the Switcherooray. Casper transforms into the super silly caricature drawing and Reggie’s drawing becomes the perfect Casper. The Switcherooray switched them. Now everybody is laughing at Casper. Reggie turns to draw Richie Rich and Gloria, but “silly” Casper intervenes. Richie Rich and Gloria escape into the woods, but Dr. Frankenspook and Reggie are not far behind. Dr. Frankenspook and Reggie come across a Troll… and make him silly. Silly Casper tries to help the silly Troll. Dr. Frankenspook and Reggie find Richie Rich and Gloria. And Reggie draws Richie. “Funny Schemes”   5 pages 

Return of the Mysterious Dr. Frankenspook Part 3. Reggie throws the drawing at Richie, and when Richie catches it Dr. Frankenspook transforms Richie Rich. Everybody laughs at silly Richie. Casper tells Richie to run before he is locked up. Deeper in the forest, Richie hides and Casper goes to see Wendy. Dr. Frankenspook and Reggie transform Gloria. Richie Rich decides to go back and rescue Gloria, but she has already been transormed into silly Gloria so he laughs at her. Casper finds Wendy, but she has already been transformed so he laughs at her. Then Wendy gives Casper a magic wand to fight Dr. Frankenspook and Reggie. Concluded in the next story…

“Funny Dreams”   5 pages 

Return of the Mysterious Dr. Frankenspook Part 4. Casper finds Dr. Frankenspook and Reggie and makes them laugh uncontrolabley, then Casper steals the Switcherooray and flys away. Casper uses the Switcherooray to transform back into regular Casper and then goes to help Richie Rich and Gloria. As Casper goes to use the Switcherooray on Richie Rich, a dollar bill falls out of Richie’s pocket and Richie Rich is transformed into George Washington. Richie as George Washington commands Dr. Frankenspook and Reggie to transform everything back to normal and to behave themselves from now on. They obey George Washington. Later everybody thinks it was a dream, except for Casper.
