Critically acclaimed writer/artist Sam Kieth presents a supernatural tale that pits Batman against a mysterious 600–pound lycanthrope known as Scratch! Although he’s featured on 3 of the 5 covers, Batman’s appearance in Scratch is brief. Sam Kieth delves into more of a deranged werewolf / disfigured freaks tale… with some Dark Knight detective thrown into the mix.

Story/Spoilers
In issue #1, After a series of children disappear, Batman investigates a small town that may harbor a dark secret. Is the adolescent lycanthrope Scratch to blame, or does he know what dark truth lies beneath the surface of this quaint town?

Next in issue #2, The supernatural miniseries by Sam Kieth mixing Batman with a teenage werewolf continues! Only Zack, a young werewolf, can save a small town from the grip of terror…a terror that’s been stealing small children. The problem is, the town doesn’t want Zack to do it!

Next in issue #3, If Zack & his new female friend Sage are trying to save an entire town, then why does that town want them dead?

Next in issue #4, What’s freakier and more out of control: a 600-pound werewolf that’s barely old enough to vote, or the mob that’s ready to kill him? The mob blames Scratch for their children’s disappearances – though he and his new girlfriend Sage are closer than ever to uncovering the truth!

Finally in issue #5, Batman returns in the conclusion of the story of misbegotten werewolf Scratch! A bloodthirsty mob wants Scratch dead. Can Batman protect him from his hometown and discover the secret of the Ouroboros in the midst of this frenzy?
