This four-issue series is loosely based around the theme of “the Boogeyman” in all his incarnations. As writer Mark Evanier points out, the Boogeyman is a universal myth of childhood, but nobody seems to agree on his exact appearance. Evanier and cartoonist Sergio Aragonés explore various types of Boogeymen in this series, taking on occasionally pointed themes with their characteristic zany humor.
