Groo is stupid again. Rufferto is by his side, and all is right with the world, But not for long. Groo is by trade, a wanderer. He wanders here, he wanders there, ever accompanied by his loyal pooch. Once he leaves a town, he rarely returns to it. This is for two reasons. One is that his soul is restless, forever leading him intonew lands and new adventures. And, of course, it’s tough to return to a town that you have just destroyed. The time, his nomadic ways have taken him to the land ruled by the gold-loving King Ravenus. Groo has never been here before (you can tell becuase the city is still standing) but his fame has preceeded him. Groo’s fame always preceeds him. So does his nose. He is known as the most dangerous man alive. He is known to be incredibility low in intelligence. And he is known to be inseparable from his canine companion. One of these is about to change…
Story/Spoilers
In issue #1, A bad run-in with the wizard Anakrony, Master of the Chronological Sciences, tests once and for all the bond between this barbarian and his best friend. Making another accidental stand against tyranny, Groo becomes separated from Rufferto, and an entire city is made to suffer. Will Groo be reunited with Rufferto, or will the little dog have to go get his own comic?
Next in issue #2, The wizard Anakrony, Master of the Chronological Sciences, has caused total havoc in the life of Groo, and now all he wants is to find his little dog, Rufferto. Mark promises lots of cheese dip for everyone.
Next in issue #3, Groo, relieved of the pressure of being the most intelligent man in the world, resumes his usual station with deftness and aplomb – two words the definition of which he cannot remember. And where did he misplace his little dog…?
Finally in issue #4, Will Groo be reunited with Rufferto, or will the little dog have to go get his own comic now? If Krypto couldn’t do it, how will Rufferto ever make it on his own?
