What Inspector Lestrade mistakes as the open-and-shut misadventure of a sleepy smoker, our heroes perceive correctly as murder! Hidden beneath the facade of genteel Victorian society, they discover a criminal so depraved that we may not speak of his horrible desires in this solicitation. Alas, this may be only a hint at the treachery afoot!
