Parody Press presents another classic superhero spoof, this one sending up the Lee-Kirby character the Silver Surfer, this time with a changed origin story. A cosmic sci-fi force turns an ordinary surfer girl into a starborne crusader prone to long philosophical soliloquies and radical surfer moves.

Story/Spoilers
Sophia Silverman is a refuge from a planet doomed to economic collapse. She crash lands in a place called Californ-la. She doesn’t fit in with the local populace and is singled out when an entity named Gluttonous emerges, demanding somebody to be his servant. He sprays her with chrome spray paint and thus the Silly Surfer is born. The remainder of the story centers on her hijinks as the Silly Surfer and features numerous cameos from other popular heroes.
