Story/Spoilers
In issue #1, Private investigator, Randi Wade, digs deeper into a pair of murders that left victims brutally skinned alive. She quickly finds a connection to the case she’s investigating and the murder of her father, which leads her straight into the mouth of danger. Willie Flambeaux, an asthmatic sort of repo man, knew one of the victims and is out to bring the killer to justice. Flambeaux enlists the help of Wade and together they set out to solve this murder mystery. But Willie is holding onto some secrets he’s not telling Randi, which leads to him butting heads with the Harmons, a powerful family that hold enormous power within town.
Next in issue #2, Randi Wade is on the trail of something deadly, but with all the clues pointing to the impossible, she has to question her sanity. Can the murders be the work of something more than human? And why are victims turning up flayed alive? Werewolves are real and Randi Wade is finding out that in their underworld existence you’re either a hunter or the prey.
Next in issue #3, Werewolves clash with snarling ferocity but Randi Wade is on the cusp of uncovering a trail of murders that ends with her father’s death years ago. A chess game is being played with humans as the pieces and life and death the stakes. She must navigate the mysterious machinations before she becomes the latest victim of brutal murder.
Finally in issue #4, The brutal conclusion is unleashed when Randi Wade finally found the truth about the creature that killed her father. But now she is face-to-face with a real werewolf and an otherworldly demon that skins people alive. George R.R. Martin’s World Fantasy Award winning horror tale comes to a close with a violent and unforgettable final act.
