Solomon Kane is a fictional character created by the pulp-era writer Robert E. Howard. A late-16th-to-early-17th century Puritan, Solomon Kane is a somber-looking man who wanders the world with no apparent goal other than to vanquish evil in all its forms. Howard described him as a tall, somber and gloomy man of pale skin, gaunt face and cold eyes, all of it shadowed by a slouch hat. He is dressed entirely in black and his weaponry usually consists of a rapier, a dirk, and a brace of flintlock pistols. His adventures, published mostly in the pulp magazine Weird Tales, often take him from Europe to the jungles of Africa and back. But now, Dark Horse presents their iteration of Robert E. Howard’s “Solomon Kane”!

Solomon Kane faces two of his greatest foes in Africa, as Bruce Jones scripts thrilling adaptations of Robert E. Howard’s “Red Shadows” and “Skulls in the Stars” adventures.

In issue #1B, Beginning his adventures in England, Kane finds himself engaged in a supernatural battle on the dreary moor road to Torkertown.

Next in issue #2B, When a dying girl reveals that it’s the despicable Le Loup who has raped and stabbed her, Solomon Kane vows to finally trap and kill this elusive fiend. Le Loup is not an easy man to find, though, and Kane will have to carve, shoot, and burn a path through the criminal mastermind’s murderous minions as he searches for the aloof villain!

Next in issue #3B, Hitting the dangerous shores of Africa, a furiously obsessed Solomon Kane continues to search for his nemesis – the infamous marauder Le Loup!
