Then the reader is treated with six classic, epic stories of Spacehawk from the Golden Age’s Target Comics. One of the major appeals of the Spacehawk epic is the artwork. Basil Wolverton was a master of the intricate and time-consuming pen and ink techniques which characterized his artwork. It’s not surprising to learn that during the Spacehawk period it took him a full day to do just one page. Seriously amazing, grossly entertaining, and very HIGHLY Recommended!

The hardcover is signed by Basil’s son – Monte Wolverton, Ron Goulart – who wrote the introduction and Robert K. Wiener – who edited and designed the book.
