Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (DS9) is an American science fiction television series created by Rick Berman and Michael Piller. The fourth series in the Star Trek media franchise originally aired in syndication from January 3, 1993, to June 2, 1999, spanning 176 episodes over seven seasons. Set in the 24th century, when Earth is part of a United Federation of Planets, its narrative is centered on the eponymous space station Deep Space Nine, located adjacent to a wormhole connecting Federation territory to the Gamma Quadrant on the far side of the Milky Way galaxy. DS9 is commanded by Commander Benjamin Sisko. During Deep Space Nine’s run, various episode novelizations and tie-in video games were produced. After the show ended, various novels and comics continued the crew’s adventures. Outside its line of novels, DS9 has been published in several comic books published by Malibu Comics, Wildstorm Comics, Marvel Comics and IDW.

Malibu Comics presents, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine – Worf Special #0. Lt. Commander Worf’s never-ending conflict between two cultures and his honor are the focal points in this 48-page comic special. With tension building between the Federation and the Klingon empire, DS9’s newest crew member faces a test of his honor and loyalty. An intrigue designed to further sabotage relations between the two powers is being played out, and Worf must find the truth before the damage done becomes irreparable. As his investigation brings him closer to an answer, Worf finds there are fewer and fewer people he can trust, and even fewer who trust him. Plus: a Worf bio, and a pin-up section.
