Now, Marvel Comics presents, an untold story of Borg first contact. After the events in the episode, an unfortunate Romulan warbird commander and her crew pick up a warp trail signature coming into Romulan territory from uncharted space and aggressively go to investigate. But before the Federation learns to fear the Borg, the Romulans learn what it means to be assimilated by the Borg. An important chapter in Star Trek continuity!
Story/Spoilers
The process of “assimilation”: forcibly transforming individual beings into “drones” by injecting nanoprobes into their bodies and surgically augmenting them with cybernetic components. A ruthless Romulan Warbird Commander named, Moliok and her Crew encounters for the first time, the most mysterious and feared villains in the Star Trek universe, the Borg! They soon learn… that “Resistance is futile!” and that “assimilation” is inevitable.
