Dark Horse Comics presents some of the most notorious bounty hunters in the galaxy in… “The Bounty Hunters Trilogy”, a collection of Star Wars comic one-shots of the “scum” of the galaxy.
First a tale of Aurra Sing, the most feared bounty hunter that the Republic has ever seen, has a talent for being in the right place at the right time, and a liking for those places in the galaxy where chaos reigns and bounties are plentiful. Then in the next tale, on the planet Xokhal, Quaffug the Hutt has staged a hunt for his private amusement. With unscrupulous bounty hunters all vying for the same purse, all rules are thrown out. But Quaffug and his hired hands may get more than they bargained for from their “helpless” prey. Finally in the last tale, Kir Kanos, the last surviving member of the emperor’s Royal Guard, is the most wanted man in the galaxy. Kanos hides by disguising himself as one of the hunters.

Aurra has a talent for being in the right place at the right time, and an appetite for those places in the galaxy where chaos reigns and bounties are plentiful… and challenging! Dark Horse begins an all-new series of one-shots featuring the vilest mercenaries from every era of the Star Wars universe!
Aurra Sing is hired by a mysterious blind sorceress on the Forest Moon of Endor. Her mission is to find and kill Reess Kairn, a fallen Jedi, who has paid two Shi’ido to disguise as himself, in order to protect his persona from eventual bounty hunters. Aurra Sing travels to three different planets to kill Reess Kairn and his fakes, but discovers a third Shi’ido shapeshifted to resemble Kairn. She travels back to Endor, realizing that the sorceress is actually Kairn himself, and kills the imposter.

On the odd planet of Xokhal, the vile Quaffug the Hutt has staged a hunt for his private amusement. With the unscrupulous bounty hunters all vying for the same purse, all rules are thrown out. But Quaffug and his hired rogues may get more than they bargained for from their “helpless” prey.
Lando Calrissian visits the palace of Quaffug the Hutt on a diplomatic mission from the Rebel Alliance. Upon visiting Quaffug, he found the himself captured and sentenced to death; ostensibly because of a game of sabacc which Quaffug had accused Lando of cheating at. For Quaffug’s amusement, Lando was given time to escape, before numerous mercenaries were sent to kill him for sport. In his journey he came across a friendly race of which he had never previously encountered, known as the Jokhalli. Upon besting them at divot, Lando was able to rally the support of the Jokhalli, convincing them he would assist in the destruction of Quaffug and use them to capture his pursuers. He then returned to Quaffug palace, with the Jokhalli and the mercenaries captured. Lando convinced Quaffug to join the Alliance, frustrating the leader of the Jokhalli, who wanted Quaffug dead. This sparked a battle between him and the Jokhalli leader which Lando won. Subsiquently Lando left the palace of Quaffug, having successfully convinced Quaffug to join forces with the Alliance.
