A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away…
Star Wars is an American epic space opera franchise centered on a film series created by George Lucas. The film series began with Star Wars, released on May 25, 1977. This was followed by two sequels: The Empire Strikes Back, released on May 21, 1980, and Return of the Jedi, released on May 25, 1983. Then more than two decades after the release of the original film, the series continued with a prequel trilogy; consisting of Episode I: The Phantom Menace, released on May 19, 1999; Episode II: Attack of the Clones, released on May 16, 2002; Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, released on May 19, 2005; and finally the epic saga concluded with Star Wars: The Force Awakens released on December 18, 2015; Star Wars: The Last Jedi was released on December 18, 2017. Star Wars: The Last Jedi, released on December 18, 2017. And Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker was released on December 20, 2019.
Marvel Comics presents a tale of Han Solo in his early days with the Rebel Alliance. Introduced in Star Wars (1977), when he and his co-pilot Chewbacca accept a charter request to transport Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, C-3PO, and R2-D2 from Tatooine to Alderaan on their ship, the Millennium Falcon. When they arrive at Alderaan, however, they discover that the planet has been destroyed. The Millennium Falcon is then captured and held within the Death Star, a moon-sized battle station constructed by the Empire. Within the Death Star, they discover that Princess Leia Organa is a prisoner on board. They rescue Princess Leia, escape the Death Star, and later as part of the Rebel Alliance they destroy the Death Star… and continue to fight and resist the Empire.
Now… a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away… Han Solo! Between the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope and Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back, Han is given a top-secret undercover mission for the Rebellion – rescuing a number of informants and spies. His cover for the assignment? Compete in the Dragon Void… only the biggest and most infamous starship race in the galaxy – to find a traitor within the Rebellion! The race is something Han has dreamt of winning his entire life. Will he keep his mind on the mission? And can he manage to pull it off while keeping the lead?
