Marvel Comics proudly presents the official comic adaptation of Star Wars: Episode VII, The Force Awakens Part II. It’s true-all of it! The biggest movie of the year jumps from the big screen to the comic book page! It’s been three decades since the Rebel Alliance destroyed the Death Star and toppled the Galactic Empire…but now, on the remote planet of Jakku…there is a stirring in the Force. A young scavenger named Rey…a deserting stormtrooper named Finn…an ace pilot name Poe…and a dark apprentice named Kylo Ren…Their lives are about to collide as the awakening begins.
Now… a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away… Star Wars: The Force Awakens! 30 years after the defeat of Darth Vader and the Empire, Rey, a scavenger from the planet Jakku, finds a BB-8 droid that knows the whereabouts of the long-lost Jedi, Luke Skywalker. Rey, a rogue stormtrooper named Finn, and two other very well-known smugglers, are thrown into the middle of a battle between the Resistance and the daunting legions of the First Order.
Story/Spoilers
Luke Skywalker has vanished. In his absence, the sinister First Order has risen from the ashes of the Empire and will not rest until the last Jedi has been destroyed. Hidden inside the Resistance droid BB-8 is a partial map that may reveal the location of Skywalker that both the First Order and Resistance are searching desperately for. With the help of Resistance fighter Poe Dameron, Finn has escaped his role as First Order stormtrooper FN-2187 and crash-lands on Jakku. Separated from Dameron, Finn meets Rey, a young scavenger who finds the missing droid BB-8. Now hunted by Kylo Ren, Rey, Finn, and BB-8 commandeer a “garbage” freighter as they try to escape Jakku with their lives….
