Rey, a rogue stormtrooper named Finn, and two other very well-known smugglers, are thrown into the middle of a battle between the Resistance and the daunting legions of the First Order.

In issue #1, Luke Skywalker has vanished. In his absence, the sinister First Order has risen from the ashes of the Empire and will not rest until Skywalker, the last Jedi, has been destroyed. With the support of the Republic, General Leia Organa leads a brave Resistance. She is desperate to find her brother Luke and gain his help in restoring peace and justice to the galaxy. Leia has sent her most daring pilot on a secret mission to Jakku, where an old ally has discovered a clue to Luke’s whereabouts….

Next in issue #2, Luke Skywalker has vanished. In his absence, the sinister First Order has risen from the ashes of the Empire and will not rest until the last Jedi has been destroyed. Hidden inside the Resistance droid BB-8 is a partial map that may reveal the location of Skywalker that both the First Order and Resistance are searching desperately for. With the help of Resistance fighter Poe Dameron, Finn has escaped his role as First Order stormtrooper FN-2187 and crash-lands on Jakku. Separated from Dameron, Finn meets Rey, a young scavenger who finds the missing droid BB-8. Now hunted by Kylo Ren, Rey, Finn, and BB-8 commandeer a “garbage” freighter as they try to escape Jakku with their lives….

Rey, Finn, and BB-8 become allies and hijack the Millennium Falcon to escape Jakku and the pursuing First Order. Once in space, however, the three find themselves caught by none other than smugglers Han Solo and Chewbacca, who in turn and being pursued by the Guavian Death Gang for a deal gone wrong. That is, until Han’s cargo escapes….

The First Order and the Resistance are in desperate search for a map leading directly to Skywalker that is hidden inside the Resistance droid BB-8. Rey, Finn, and BB-8 become allies and hijack the Millennium Falcon to evade their would-be captors, but are caught by smugglers Han Solo and Chewbacca. Han informs the group that the map to Skywalker is not complete, and they set off to find the rest. Once they arrive on the planet Takodana, the crew meets Maz Kanata. Maz offers Finn a choice to disappear to the Outer Rim, and he takes it–leaving Rey, who hears a calling in the distance. Following the sound, she discovers a mysterious weapon….

After the group meets Han’s mentor Maz Kanata on the planet Takodana, the First Order attacks and destroys everything in sight. The Resistance arrives to save the day, but not before Kylo Ren himself kidnaps Rey. Now, it is up to Han Solo, Finn, and the Resistance to save Rey from the evil clutches of the First Order….

Finally in issue #6, Luke Skywalker has vanished. In his absence, the sinister First Order has risen from the ashes of the Empire and will not rest until the last Jedi has been destroyed. The First Order and the Resistance are desperately searching for a map leading directly to Skywalker that is hidden inside the droid BB-8. Finn, a former stormtrooper, and Rey, a young scavenger, become allies with the Resistance droid carrying the incomplete map to the missing Jedi while befriending Rebellion heroes Han Solo and Chewbacca However, when trying to return BB-8 to the Resistance, Rey is captured by Kylo Ren and taken to Starkiller – the home base of the First Order. Upon attempting a rescue mission, Finn and Han infiltrate the First Order base, only to find Rey has escaped on her own. But when Han comes face-to-face with Kylo Ren, his son betrays him once and for all….
