Story/Spoilers
In part #1, It is a period of renewed hope for the Rebellion. The evil Galactic Empire’s greatest weapon, the Death Star, has been destroyed by the young Rebel pilot, Luke Skywalker. With the Imperial forces in disarray, the Rebels look to press their advantage by unleashing a daring offensive throughout the far reaches of space, hoping to defeat the Empire once and for all and at last restore freedom to the galaxy…
In the aftermath of the Battle of Yavin between the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance, in which Luke Skywalker destroyed the Death Star, the Rebels use their decisive victory as a catalyst to try to destroy the Empire once and for all. The Empire, meanwhile, wants to use Jabba the Hutt as a weapons supplier and has arranged for an Imperial negotiator to meet with Jabba’s emissary at Weapons Factory Alpha on the moon Cymoon 1, part of the Corellian Industrial Cluster. The emissary’s ship was hijacked by the Rebels, however, and they intend to infiltrate the weapons factory—the largest in the galaxy—and destroy it to deliver another blow to the Imperial war machine. The hijacked ship arrives on Cymoon 1, where it is authorized to land at the weapons factory. Imperial Overseer Aggadeen, a squadron of stormtroopers, and a LOM-series protocol droid stand ready to greet the “emissary.” The Imperials are an unwilling ally of Jabba’s criminal empire and Aggadeen, mistrustful of the ship orders his stormtroopers to eliminate the emissary at the first sign of suspicion. When the ship lands, the emissary reveals himself to be Han Solo, still claiming to work for Jabba the Hutt. The Imperials confirm his identity and affiliation and bring him and his bodyguards—a disguised Skywalker and Princess Leia Organa—into the facility, along with R2-D2. In addition to the three Rebels in the facility, Chewbacca stands ready as a sniper, having arrived in the Millennium Falcon, which is being watched by C-3PO. Once inside the facility, the Rebels are shown the automated TIE/ln space superiority starfighter assembly line. As they walk through it, the Overseer explains that there will be no negotiation, and that Jabba will be forced to accept the terms that the Empire gives him. The Overseer tells them to wait in a conference room for the “negotiator” to arrive, but Solo tells him that he was right: there will be no negotiations. Artoo sprays a liquid onto the floor and electrocutes it, shocking the stormtroopers standing in the liquid. Skywalker and Organa fight the remaining troopers, while Solo reveals to the Overseer that they are Rebels and demands to know where the facility’s main power core is located. The Overseer refuses at first, but Artoo threatens to electrocute him, so the officer points them in the right direction before Organa punches him. The Rebels make their way towards the power core, where they plan to destroy both it and the entire facility. Solo contacts Threepio for a status report, and the protocol droid tells him that the Millennium Falcon is safely hidden in a large refuse field outside of the facility. Solo orders him to be on alert, so the droid can engage the ship’s auto-pilot once the Rebels are ready to leave. When the Rebels arrive in the power core, Organa tells Artoo to hack into the Imperial computer and shut down the core’s safety restraints. As Artoo works on the computer, Skywalker watches for additional Imperial troops, using what little he knows of the Force to reach out and sense any nearby presence. The Force leads him to a cage filled with Imperial slaves, where he is confronted by a guard. The Jedi trainee attempts to use a mind trick to ward off the guard, repeating the action he once saw Obi-Wan Kenobi use on Tatooine, but he fails at doing so. Instead, Skywalker ignites his lightsaber and cuts off the guard’s hand, allowing Skywalker to break the slaves out of their cage and lead them to the other Rebels. Artoo successfully lowers the safety restraints and Solo sets the power core to overload in ten minutes. Organa thanks him for helping the Rebellion again, particularly because the Empire now knows that he is working with the Alliance. As they talk, Skywalker returns with the slaves. Solo orders Threepio to turn on the auto-pilot so the Falcon can pick them up before the core overloads, but Chewbacca interrupts him and says that an Imperial shuttle has arrived. The shuttle carries the Imperial “negotiator:” Darth Vader, the Dark Lord of the Sith. Solo tells Chewbacca to stand down and avoid taking a shot at Vader, as he knows that the facility will be on alert if Vader is made a target, but Organa orders otherwise and commands the Wookiee to kill the Dark Lord. Chewbacca takes the shot, but Vader deflects it with his lightsaber. Chewbacca continues firing and Vader throws stormtroopers into the line of fire to avoid being hit himself. Vader uses the Force to tear apart the building that Chewbacca is standing on top of, forcing the Wookiee to flee. Vader orders the entire moon to be on alert and senses Skywalker, recognizing his presence as the man who destroyed the Death Star. Unable to contact Chewbacca, and with the entire facility on alert, Solo orders Threepio to engage the auto-pilot and pick the Rebels up. Threepio has already tried doing so, however, but native scavengers have begun tearing apart the Falcon in the refuse field, preventing the auto-pilot from working. Stormtroopers arrive at the Rebels’ location, forcing them to blast their way towards safety. The Rebels enter a hangar housing AT-AT walkers, one of which Solo plans to commandeer in order to get out of the facility before it explodes. As they begin loading onto the walker, Organa realizes that Skywalker is no longer with them. He is searching for Vader elsewhere in the facility, as he still believes that Vader is the man who killed his father. As Skywalker approaches the Dark Lord, he hears Kenobi’s voice speak to him from beyond. Skywalker comes face to face with his father’s so-called killer, and Kenobi tells him to run.
Next in part #2, On the heels of its greatest victory against the evil Galactic Empire, the destruction of the Death Star, the Rebel Alliance is pushing its advantage. Princess Leia Organa has led a covert team in an attack on Cymoon 1, possibly the largest weapons factory in the entire Empire. Posing as emissaries from an Outer Rim crime syndicate, they gained access and planted charges. Unfortunately, the “fully automated” factory also contains a number of innocent slave workers. Now, the Rebels race to escape with the freed slaves before the factory is destroyed – a task made far more difficult by the arrival of Sith Lord Darth Vader on the moon…
Luke Skywalker does not heed Obi-Wan Kenobi’s advice to run from Darth Vader, instead opting to stand his ground against the Sith Lord. Vader is dismissive of Luke’s Jedi training, noting that Luke looks like an “untrained child” in the way he handles a lightsaber. Nonetheless, Vader appears curious as to the identity of the young rebel. Luke angrily blames Vader for the murder of his father, however Vader fails to recognise him to which he notes that he had already murdered too many fathers to remember. Luke then attacks Vader, however his lack of training is no match for the skills of the Sith Lord. Vader easily parries Luke’s blows before knocking the young Jedi to the ground and force pulls Luke’s lightsaber from his hand. Rather than kill Luke, Vader continues to be curious as to who he is and who had sent him to Cymoon 1. In his anger, Luke then reveals that he was at the Death Star when Vader murdered Obi-Wan. Vader then mocks Obi-Wan as a poor example of a Jedi Master, highlighting Luke’s lack of ability with a lightsaber as an example. Vader then demands Luke to reveal his knowledge of the Rebellion’s plans, the purpose of his mission to Cymoon 1 and the identity of the pilot whom destroyed the Death Star. Although threatened with immediate execution by Vader, Luke refuses to reveal any more information to the Sith Lord. Vader, aware of his futile efforts prepares to execute him. However as he is about to deliver the killing blow, he becomes aware for the first time that he is holding onto his old weapon as a Jedi. Vader, startled and confused by this revelation, momentarily hesitates in delivering the killing blow. This distraction is just long enough for Han Solo, controlling the rogue AT-AT walker to save the day. The AT-AT crashes through the room in which Luke and Vader were having their showdown. Both Luke and Vader are knocked clear of one another. Han alerts Luke over the intercom that he is attempting to clear a path through the facility and that he should join the rescued prisoners in following the AT-AT out of the facility. Princess Leia Organa meanwhile criticizes Han’s clumsy piloting of the AT-AT to which Han blames the poor handling on bad design. Leia angrily notes that he nearly stepped on a Twi’lek prisoner and should instead focus on trying to step on the startled Vader. Han, however notes he is having difficulty enough trying to get out of the facility rather than focusing on trying to step on people. The two continuously argue whilst trying to pilot the AT-AT. Vader quickly recovers and orders the stormtroopers to kill all the prisoners and the rebels. In the confusion, Luke asks Obi-Wan for guidance in killing Vader and preventing any more of the prisoners from dying. However he realizes this is in vain, seeing Vader easily slaughtering the prisoners with both his and Luke’s lightsaber, Luke ponders to himself “What have I done?”. Meanwhile in the AT-AT, Leia continues to berate Han to which she observes that the cannons for the walker are still inactive. Han confidently reassures her that R2-D2 is working on it. However even R2-D2 appears to be struggling to activate the cannons, to which Leia hopes and pleads over the intercom for C-3PO to arrive in the Millennium Falcon quickly. However, C-3PO is nowhere near being able to rescue his crew, noting that the local species had arrived and had began scavenging the Falcon for its parts. Leia demands that Threepio find any way possible to get to the facility as quickly as possible. A more than hesitant Threepio complies, grabbing a cloak to disguise himself from the scavengers as well as a small blaster pistol. He emerges from the Falcon where he politely asks the scavengers to refrain their activities before doing his best effort to intimidate them into thinking he is “seriously armed”. The ploy, however is a complete failure when Threepio clumsily drops the blaster and his cloak falls off. Threepio immediately announces his surrender. When the scavengers attempt to communicate with him, Threepio fails to recognize their language despite his incredible language skills. The scavengers thereafter quickly decide to blast him. Meanwhile, Luke is trying to round up the few surviving prisoners, however his efforts continue to be in vain as Vader and the stormtroopers continue to find and slaughter the prisoners with ease. Luke begins to lose all hope, silently communicating to Obi-Wan that he is not his father and that he just a stupid farm boy. However he suddenly notices a group of parked 74-Z speeder bikes. Remembering his speeder bike qualities, he rushes and hops onto the bike to which he charges Vader and the stormtroopers at full speed. Cannons blazing, Luke wipes out the stormtroopers standing around Vader. As Luke speeds away, Vader becomes noticeably impressed at Luke’s flying skills to which he further ponders who the boy is and Obi-Wan’s interest for him. However he is not given long to ponder as Han has finally turned his attention to doing his best to use the AT-AT to step on Vader. As Han raises the AT-AT’s front right leg to step on Vader, he is suddenly bewildered when the leg refuses to go back down to earth to crush Vader. Leia notes that Vader is using the Force to hold the leg in the air. Han does his best to reason that what Vader is doing is not possible. However Vader’s Force powers are undeniable. However at that moment, Artoo had finally managed to get the blaster cannons working to which Han desperately fires the cannons at Vader. Vader taking hit from the blaster cannons is flung clear and is forced to break his hold on the AT-AT. The walker now free finally is able to smash its way out of the facility. Leia, so happy at Artoo’s work notes that she could kiss him to which arouses a jealous response from Han. He then turns his attention to angrily trying to communicate with Threepio. Threepio, however, is being rounded up in pieces by the scavengers and notes to himself that he is going to shut down for a while. In the confusion, Vader lost his grip on his old lightsaber to which Luke quickly retrieves. Han notes over the intercom that Vader had been destroyed, Luke whom is on his way to regroup with the AT-AT is however skeptical that Vader was so easily defeated. Vader, however was lucky to survive the incident with the AT-AT, he had been submerged under the rubble of the caved in hanger facility and his helmet had been blown off his head after the blast. He forced his way out of submersion and desperately scrambles to find and put on his helmet. However he isn’t able to do so without a single stormtrooper, much to his horror seeing the face of the horribly scarred Sith Lord. Vader, leaving no witnesses to his true appearance, quickly killed the lone stormtrooper, twisting and snapping his neck. He quickly regains his composure to which he is contacted over the intercom by Overseer Aggadeen whom remarks the core had gone into meltdown to which he pleaded that they evacuate the facility. Vader, however cooly denies the request noting that death would only await Aggadeen anyway if he was unable to get the reactor under control. He orders the remaining the stormtroopers to regroup and hunt down the rebels. Vader commanded his troops to wipe out all the rebels with the exception of the young rebel he had previously encountered.
Next in part #3, It is a period of renewed hope for the Rebellion. The evil Galactic Empire’s greatest weapon, the Death Star, has been destroyed, and now the Rebel Alliance looks to press its advantage by unleashing a daring offensive throughout the far reaches of space. Princess Leia Organa has led a covert team of rebels in an attack on Cymoon 1, the largest weapons factory in the galaxy. But after rigging the factory’s main power core to explode and rescuing dozens of innocent slave workers, their escape plan was thwarted by the unexpected arrival of Darth Vader. Now the rebels must fight their way to freedom, using the Empire’s own vehicles as their means of escape. And Luke Skywalker must remain one step ahead of the unstoppable Lord Vader, who is beginning to take an interest in the young rebel pilot…
On Cymoon 1, Han Solo and Princess Leia Organa battle against Imperial stormtroopers in their hijacked AT-AT walker. They are aided by several liberated alien slaves, many of whom are killed in battle. Luke Skywalker rides a stolen Imperial 74-Z speeder bike, gunning down stormtroopers. Darth Vader strides into the battle. Princess Leia uses the AT-AT’s laser cannons to shoot down a TIE fighters. Leia plans to take the AT-AT walker to the trash fields where the Millennium Falcon is parked. Solo says the Falcon has been through a lot but worries about C-3PO. Meanwhile, tentacled aliens ransack the Falcon, helping themselves to C-3PO who has been dismantled into several parts. Chewbacca comes to C-3PO’s rescue and fights off the aliens. Hearing the Wookiee over the comlink, Solo tells Chewbacca to get the Falcon airborne. Leia and Han find their path blocked by several AT-ST walkers, Assault tanks, and Imperial combat speeders. Solo asks Luke where he is. Luke, who is being pursued by stormtroopers on speeder bikes, replies that he is not far. One of the pursuing stormtroopers crashes his speeder bike into the foot of an AT-AT walker. Luke manages to fight off a second stormtrooper with his lightsaber, causing his enemy to crash into the legs of an AT-AT walker. Solo tells Skywalker to avoid the factory because the reactor is going to overload. However, Leia realizes that the Imperials must have stopped the meltdown.
Meanwhile, Overseer Aggadeen tells Lord Vader that he has managed to halt the reactor’s meltdown, saving the factory. Vader says the Overseer may live to see tomorrow but orders him to send more troopers to his location. Vader then slices off the right rear ankle couplings of the AT-AT with his lightsaber. Solo contacts Chewbacca to ask about the repairs and tells the Wookiee to hurry up. A damaged C-3PO thinks that they are all doomed and thanks the Maker that his eye circuits are not connected, saving him from seeing the carnage. Skywalker slices off the laser cannons of an AT-ST walker. Meanwhile, Vader slices off a second set of the hijacked AT-AT’s ankle couplings. Luke wants to intervene but Solo tells him to stay back because they have taken too much damage. Vader then slices off the remaining legs of the AT-AT walker, causing it to topple. He orders his troops to move in for the kill. However, Skywalker attacks them with his lightsaber. This allows Solo, Princess Leia, and the liberated alien slaves to fight their way into the trash fields. Leia tells Skywalker to come with them but he refuses to get off his speeder bike. Later, Vader and his stormtroopers observe that the rebels and slaves have entered the trash fields. Before Vader can order his troops to pursue the fugitives, Skywalker attacks them with his speeder bike. Lord Vader pursues the rebel pilot in an Imperial combat speeder through a tunnel. Skywalker takes the opportunity to destroy Weapons Factory Alpha’s reactor, causing an overload that destroys the factory. Skywalker barely survives the explosion. He apologizes that he will never be a Jedi like his father. Lord Vader watches over the burning factory and the fleeing Falcon. Aboard the Falcon, Skywalker has rejoined his rebel comrades and the liberated slaves. Solo tells Chewbacca to get the hyperdrive working. Reaching the upper atmosphere, they see a fleet of Imperial Star Destroyers. The rebels manage to flee into hyperspace before the Star Destroyers can attack them.
Captain Kronn of the Star Destroyer Adjudicator apologizes that the rebel ship has eluded their blockade. A displeased Vader Force chokes him. Vader taunts his late mentor Obi-Wan Kenobi, telling him that Skywalker is untrained and that he will train Skywalker into a weapon of the Empire and the dark side.
While the liberated alien slaves celebrate, C-3PO remarks that this was the strangest diplomatic mission that he had experience while R2-D2 repairs him. Princess Leia reassures an upset Luke that what he did was crazy and insubordinate but that many people including her are grateful to him. Leia likens Luke’s exploits on Cymoon 1 to his heroic actions during the Battle of Yavin. However, a despondent Luke replies that he should be dead and that Vader was right that he was no Jedi and will never be. Meanwhile on Tatooine, two aliens transport the late Rodian bounty hunter Greedo in a landspeeder. One of the alien asks why they did not just drop him in the middle of Mos Eisley. His companion responds that doing so would attract Imperial questions and Jabba’s murder tax. They dump Greedo’s body near Ben Kenobi’s home, dismissing him as a crazy old wizard. Inside Kenobi’s home is a box with the inscription “For Luke.”
Next in part #4, It is a period of renewed hope for the Rebellion. The evil Galactic Empire’s greatest weapon, the Death Star, has been destroyed, and now the Rebel Alliance looks to press its advantage by unleashing a daring offensive throughout the far reaches of space. Princess Leia Organa and her team of rebels have just completed a daring mission where they managed to infiltrate and destroy the largest Imperial weapons factory in the galaxy. Their success was owed in large part to the valiant efforts of young Luke Skywalker, who at one point during the battle stood face to face with the unstoppable Darth Vader himself. But Luke finds little cause for celebration in the victory. He has now seen the full power of the Force in action and knows he has a very long way to go if he ever hopes to become a true Jedi…
Majordomo Bib Fortuna welcomes Darth Vader to Jabba’s palace on Tatooine. Vader has little time for pleasantries and insists on proceeding with the negotiations with Jabba, who remarks that Vader lives up to his reputation as a man who knows how to strike a bargain. When Jabba mentions the recent Imperial defeats at Yavin 4 and Cymoon 1, Vader dismisses them as rebel lies and asks if Jabba will accept the Emperor’s terms. Jabba reminds Lord Vader that whatever meager resources he controls also belongs to the Empire. Jabba tells Vader that he just wants to be repaid sufficiently for providing the Empire with the resources needed to build Star Destroyers, feed his stormtroopers, and kill the rebels. When Lord Vader says that Jabba will accept whatever the Empire decides to pay him, Jabba warns that it would be a shame if the Empire’s shipments were intercepted by pirates or eaten by giant space slugs. Vader responds that the Empire is not intimidated by obstinate Hutts. He orders Jabba to continue ensuring that the supplies arrive on time in return for being allowed to retain his power. Vader turns to leave but Bib Fortuna explains that Jabba prefers to seal all his business ventures by watching something die. Jabba chomps on a gorg. At the Alliance Fleet in deep space, Han Solo gives critical feedback about Chewbacca’s repairs to the Millennium Falcon. When Chewbacca roars grumpily, Solo tells him not to roar so loud because his head is still hurting. Solo says that he did not crash the AT-AT walker on Cymoon 1 and that Vader brought it down with his laser sword. Solo asks Chewbacca to hand him a macrofuser. Meanwhile, C-3PO thanks R2-D2 while describing him as a “cowardly tub of grease.” C-3PO insists that the aliens on Cymoon did not mis-assemble his personality circuits. In the briefing room, Admiral Ackbar informs Princess Leia Organa, Mon Mothma and General Jan Dodonna that the Rebel Alliance has staged more than a dozen attacks on several worlds including the Imperial shipyards on Kuat and the supply base on Imdaar. He also thanks Leia for destroying the Weapons Factory Alpha on Cymoon 1, which he describes as one of the largest Imperial factories in the galaxy. Leia says they have only wounded the Empire and that they need to press their advantage or everything they have achieved will be for nothing. She explains that the Empire deals with Outer Rim gangsters to maintain their supply lines. Leia warns that they will replace everything they have lost if the rebels give them time. Admiral Ackbar responds that they cannot simply maintain that sort of offensive when they are not on the run.
Mothma agrees with Admiral Ackbar and says that the bulk of their resources should be directed towards keeping the rebel fleet in constant motion. She says that they need to find a new world to establish a base of operations. Leia tells Mothma that she can do a lot with her own team. Mothma responds that they barely escaped Cymoon 1 and warns her not to push her team too hard. Leia disagrees but Mothma asks if she can speak for all of her team. Meanwhile, a blindfolded Luke Skywalker spars with two training remotes, which sting him. In frustration, Skywalker slices them in half with his lightsaber. When Leia enters, Luke tells her that he is not interested in any mission that she has come to recruit him into. Leia tells Luke that he is being too hard on himself and that she has seen him do amazing things that only a Jedi could do. Skywalker responds that he is no Jedi and is a danger to everyone around him. Leia disagrees and tells him that General Kenobi saw something special in him. Luke responds that Ben is dead like his father. When he tried to avenge Kenobi, Vader swatted him like an insect. Lacking confident in his powers and abilities, Luke asks Leia to let him go. Leia asks where he would go and tells Luke that this is what he was born for. At Mos Eisley, four Rodian bounty hunters meet with a masked woman who is offering a bounty on Han Solo. She wants them to help her find Solo but the Rodians insist on taking the bounty hunting job. Their leader points a gun at the masked woman and the other Rodians are armed with vibro-axes. The woman responds “in that case… knees”, which activates a voice-activated smart-targeting scatterblaster that blasts them in the knee caps. The woman boasts that she got these weapons on Nar Shaddaa. Despite being wounded, the lead Rodian insists on taking the bounty and points his blaster at her. The woman uses the scattergun to shoot off his right hand. The woman reveals that she had lured the into a trap in order to acquire information about Solo. Since she has attacked them, the Rodian leader refuses to help them. The masked woman is about to activate the scatterblaster to target his lips but he convinces her to relent by revealing that Solo fled offworld after murdering their brother Greedo. When the Rodian demands a reward for providing her with information on Solo, she tells them that she spared their lives and that Solo belongs to her. Jabba’s sail barge Khetanna hovers over a herd of banthas. While stormtroopers watch, Jabba’s bounty hunters shoot the herd, killing and wounding many of them. Jabba’s pet Kowakian monkey-lizard Salacious B. Crumb laughs maniacally. An annoyed Lord Vader tells Jabba to restrain his pet if he values that creature’s life. Jabba admires Vader’s ruthlessness and says they are good friends now. When Vader disagrees, Jabba points out that he has helped Vader in the same way that the Sith apprentice has helped the Emperor in his time of need. Vader responds that he only lives to serve the Emperor. When Jabba asks if he has found the services of his bounty hunters useful, Vader refuses to consider hiring bounty hunters. Jabba clarifies that they are merely listening to the sweet song of dying banthas. Vader says that the Wookiee bounty hunter Black Krrsantan’s mission is simple enough and that the other’s mission is to capture the “boy” who blew up the Death Star. Vader asks Jabba what he knows about Kenobi. Jabba describes Kenobi as an “old wizard” who was a torn in his side. Bored with the dying banthas, Jabba orders his crew to take them to the sarlacc, describing it as one of the few treasures on this desolate world. Jabba is amazed that a barren world such as Tatooine could produce a hero like Luke Skywalker who destroyed the Death Star. Despite Leia’s pleas, Luke departs with R2-D2 in his X-wing fighter. Unable to reason with Luke, Leia tells him to stay safe because the Rebel Alliance needs him back in one piece. Han Solo thinks that Luke’s solo journey is a bad idea because the Empire is searching for the pilot who blew up the Death Star. Skywalker thinks that the Empire does not know who he is. Skywalker says that he still has many unanswered questions and needs to return to Tatooine, the one place where he can maybe start to get these answers. Meanwhile in Mos Eisley, the leading Rodian bounty hunter tells Boba Fett that they do not know where Solo has run off. Fett responds that he is interested in a man named Kenobi. The Rodian describes Kenobi as a crazy old wizard who lives out of town in the Dune Sea. When the Rodian asks why Fett is looking for him, the figure replies that Kenobi is dead and that he will be asking the questions.
Next in part #5, It is a period of renewed hope for the Rebellion. The evil Galactic Empire’s greatest weapon, the Death Star, has been destroyed by the young rebel pilot Luke Skywalker. But Skywalker knows he has a long way to go if he ever hopes to become a true Jedi. Seeking clues to his destiny, he has returned home to Tatooine. Meanwhile, Darth Vader is seeking answers of his own and has hired the notorious bounty hunter Boba Fett to track down the pilot who destroyed the Death Star…
Luke Skywalker returns to his homeworld of Tatooine, questioning his commitment to the Rebellion. Unknown to Skywalker, the bounty hunter Boba Fett knows who he is and is determined to capture him. Fett kills the Rodian bounty hunters before jetting off in his jetpack. Fett travels to Chalmun’s Spaceport Cantina in Mos Eisley, seeking information on Skywalker. Fett is about to question an Ithorian when he is taunted by a six-armed alien, who calls him a “boy” and challenges him to a fight. Fett however bests the alien in combat, ripping off one of his arms and breaking two others. Fett demands information on Skywalker and breaks a third arm to prove a point. Wuher recalls that Obi-Wan Kenobi came here with a kid that looked like a farmer’s brat. A young moisture farmer turns to flee but Fett traps him with his Whipcord thrower. Fett proceeds to torture the lad. Meanwhile in the Alliance Fleet, Han Solo tells Princess Leia Organa that he needs a hyperdrive regulator, two laser power cells, and three degaussers to repair the damaged Millennium Falcon. Leia does not understand Solos attachment to the ship and is preoccupied with gathering resources to establish a new rebel base. Solo, who has feelings for Leia, tries to get her to say that he doesn’t want her to leave. Leia tells him to leave. When Solo asks for the spareparts, she reminds him that she is not running a charity and that everyone aboard this fleet works for what they get. Leia offers to help Solo get the parts that he needs in return for serving as her co-pilot for an upcoming mission. Solo reminds Leia that he helped her to destroy Weapons Factory Alpha but Leia tells him that was days ago. Solo accepts her offer but jokingly tells Leia to stop living in the future.
Back at Chalmun’s Cantina, Fett tortures the moisture farmer with daggers. The lad tells Fett that Luke Skywalker is the name of the person he is looking for. He tells Fett that Luke is a farmer and a bush pilot who used to hang out at Tosche Station with Biggs Darklighter. The lad tells Fett that he saw Skywalker with Kenobi in Mos Eisley trying to get offworld. The lad tells Fett that he only wanted a drink. Having outlived his usefulness to Fett, Fett kills the lad. Meanwhile, Skywalker and R2-D2 travel across the Jundland Wastes to Ben Kenobi’s home. Skywalker admits to R2-D2 that he does not know what to expect at Kenobi’s home. He says that Kenobi has taught him everything that he knows about the Jedi. Still, Skywalker senses that Kenobi still has something left to teach him. He says that he hears Kenobi sometimes even though he is dead but is uncertain whether it is actually Kenobi’s voice. Just then, Skywalker is attacked by a Tusken Raider with a Gaderffii stick. Skywalker fights off the Tusken with his lightsaber. He discovers several Tusken Raiders raiding Kenobi’s house and charges at them with his lightsaber. R2-D2 flashes his Electro-shock prod. Meanwhile, Princess Leia and Han Solo travel in a stolen Imperial shuttle on a mission to find a new base for the Rebel Alliance. Solo describes Ganath Cloud, the Trindello system, and the Moons of Ovise as scenic locales. Leia reminds him that it is not a sightseeing tour and that they are scouting for a rebel base in an isolated location. Not sharing Leia’s commitment to the Rebellion, Solo asks if Leia could take him to somewhere with a nice beach. Leia is unhappy at Solo’s lack of fervor. When Solo remarks that Leia is not captaining the ship, Leia reminds him that this is not their ship but is a stolen Imperial shuttle. Solo responds that he did not steal the Millennium Falcon but won it in a game of sabacc. While chatting about the Falcon, they pick up two blips on the scanner. These blips turn out to be two TIE fighters, which order the shuttle to identify itself. Princess Leia is unhappy that Solo let the TIE fighters stroll up right behind them. Solo tells Leia to give him the controls so they can fly out of here but Leia tells him to relax because they are in a stolen shuttle.
Leia tells the TIE fighters that their shuttle is the Invictus and that they are operating out of the Blackfel system on a classified scouting mission. She transmits the clearance codes. Han and Leia realize that the Empire is reaching deeper into the Outer Rim and that it will be harder to find a new base. However, Solo grabs the controls and takes the shuttle on an evasive maneuver. Leia fights for the controls and tries to tell the TIE fighters that the shuttle’s engines misfired. The TIE pilots don’t believe her and tell her to prepare to be boarded. Solo tells her that he was right and takes the shuttle to the Monsua Nebula in the Moddell sector. Solo and Leia encounter an uncharted planet covered in cyclones and electrical super-storms. Solo flies the shuttle into the stormy planet. Fearful of the cyclones and storms, the Imperials retreat. Princess Leia is angry that Solo has led them to a dangerous world and chides him as the worst smuggler she has ever met. As their shuttle passes by, they are picked up by a homing beacon, which reports their movements to a masked figure on a freighter. The figure remarks that the dog always returns to its favorite den. Luke Skywalker manages to frighten the Tusken Raiders with his lightsaber. Luke admits that he struggles with anger and frustration, which he recognizes are not the path to becoming a Jedi. He tells Artoo that he needs answers. Upon seeing Kenobi’s house in a mess, Luke doubts that he will find the answer that he needs. He realizes that the Sandpeople have not made off with much since there was little to begin with. Luke wonders why Kenobi chose to hide on Tatooine. R2-D2 notices a box inscribed with the words “For Luke.” However, Boba Fett throws a flash grenade into the living room, blinding Skywalker.
Finally in part #6, It is a period of renewed hope for the Rebellion. The evil Galactic Empire’s greatest weapon, the Death Star, has been destroyed by the young rebel pilot Luke Skywalker. But Skywalker knows he has a long way to go if he ever hopes to become a true Jedi. Seeking clues to his destiny, he has returned to Tatooine, to the home of his departed mentor, Ben Kenobi. Meanwhile, Darth Vader is seeking answers of his own and has hired the notorious bounty hunter Boba Fett to track down the mysterious pilot who destroyed the Death Star. Fett has found his man. And his flash grenade leaves young Skywalker blinded and alone…
After being blinded by Boba Fett’s flash grenade in Obi-Wan Kenobi’s home, Luke Skywalker is disoriented. Fett whips his head with the butt of his rifle and orders him to stay down. Despite being blinded Skywalker punches Fett but bruises his hands against his Mandalorian armor. Fett warns Skywalker not to waste his time. Skywalker thinks that Fett is a stormtrooper. Skywalker realizes that he has been blinded by a flash grenade. Fett orders him not to move. Skywalker demands to know who hired Fett and where he is taking him. Fett kicks Skywalker in the head for resisting, intending to knock him unconscious. However, Skywalker ignites his lightsaber and tells Fett that he is not going anywhere. Fett dismisses the blinded Skywalker but Luke responds that a Jedi does not need eyes. Fett dismisses Skywalker’s threats but Skywalker responds that he should not have come. Guided by the Force, Skywalker advances with his lightsaber but Fett dodges his blow and fires his whipcord thrower. Skywalker manages to slice the cord with his lightsaber, causing the bolt to explode. Fett trips over R2-D2, leading Skywalker to taunt him that his armor is noisy. Fett responds that his mouth is noisy before charging at Luke with his jetpack. Meanwhile, Princess Leia Organa and Han Solo discover that the uncharted stormy world has a beautiful surface that is covered in grass, trees, waterfalls, and large rocky structures. Solo explains that he had crashlanded on the planet earlier and used it as a hiding place for his smuggled goods. Solo reassures Leia that the TIE fighters won’t pursue them because their pilots can’t navigate through the violent storms and their scanners cannot pierce down here. While entering a cave hidden by a waterfall, Leia tells Solo that this planet will be useful for the Rebellion. Solo reassures her that only he and Chewbacca know about the planet’s existence. Solo then offers Leia some Corellian wine. Meanwhile, one of the TIE pilots think that the rebel fugitives are dead because they could not have survived those storms. However, his colleague thinks that they better be sure or they will be in trouble. Just then, an unidentified vessel jets pass them. The TIE pilots demand that the vessel identify itself but a hooded figure tells them that she won’t be long. Back at Kenobi’s home, Luke’s jacket is cut by Fett’s Mandalorian vambrace. Skywalker tries to strike Fett with his lightsaber but Fett cuts him with his vambrace. Fett gives Skywalker a third chance to put down his lightsaber. Skywalker responds that Kenobi would never surrender but Fett taunts him that Kenobi is dead before shooting Skywalker in the shoulder. Fett says he was supposed to bring Skywalker back alive but is able to settle for “breathing.” Skywalker responds that a Jedi can feel the Force flowing through him. Fett fires a blaster bolt but Skywalker deflects it with his lightsaber. Fett ignites his jetpack and charges at Skywalker. knocking him to the ground. Before Fett can gain the upper hand, R2-D2 hurls a box at Fett, knocking the bounty hunter unconscious. Skywalker asks R2-D2 what happened and if this was the box they found. R2-D2 leads the blinded Skywalker out of Kenobi’s wrecked home and back to his starfighter. As the day rises, Skywalker regains his sight and tells R2-D2 to fire up the converters. He examines the box and finds a book titled The Journals of Ben Kenobi. Back on the uncharted world, Leia takes offense at Solo’s flirtation and hurls Corellian wine at him. She tells him that they are on a mission of vital importance for the Rebellion and rebuffs his attempt at dating. Solo responds that the wine was not cheap and says that he has every right to drink after saving their lives. Leia counters that they would not be here if he had lost his nerve. Solo takes offense but the their argument is interrupted by the sound of starship engines. This ship belongs to the mysterious masked figure who was pursuing them. Leia realizes this is not an Imperial ship and asks who else knows about this place. Solo tells them to run and they dodge laser blasts. As the ship lands, Leia asks who has found them. The mysterious woman tells Leia not to bother asking Solo, claiming that he is a liar. She introduces herself as Sana Solo, Solo’s wife. Solo buries his forehead in his hand while Leia responds with shock to the revelation that Solo had a wife. Armed with a blaster, Sana demands to know who she is. Fett flies the Slave I to Darth Vader’s Imperial Star Destroyer. Fett reports that he lost the rebel pilot. Vader is staring out a viewport. While Vader is disappointed, he asks Fett if he brought anything of value. Fett responds that the fugitive is named Skywalker. Vader does not turn, leading Fett to assume that they are done here and to take his leave. After Fett has left, Vader uses the Force to crack the transparisteel window while he grapples with the revelation that he has a son.
