A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away…
Star Wars is an American epic space opera franchise centered on a film series created by George Lucas. The film series began with Star Wars, released on May 25, 1977. This was followed by two sequels: The Empire Strikes Back, released on May 21, 1980, and Return of the Jedi, released on May 25, 1983. Then more than two decades after the release of the original film, the series continued with a prequel trilogy; consisting of Episode I: The Phantom Menace, released on May 19, 1999; Episode II: Attack of the Clones, released on May 16, 2002; Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, released on May 19, 2005; and finally the epic saga concluded with Star Wars: The Force Awakens released on December 18, 2015; Star Wars: The Last Jedi was released on December 18, 2017. And Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker was released on December 20, 2019.
The Rebels’ covert ops go on the offensive as Princess Leia sends two of her top pilots – Wedge Antilles and Luke Skywalker – to be “captured” by the Empire! While on her own, Leia goes in search of a location for a new Rebel base. But Darth Vader is on the alert and sends his own agent after Luke, while Leia unexpectedly encounters a fellow Alderaanian who forces her to relive the loss of her home planet.
Story/Spoilers
In part #7, Princess Leia takes the Rebels’ secret mission to the next level! Playing it safe has gotten them nowhere, and they are running out of resources and time. What’s the fastest way to get inside info on the Empire? Have your top pilots get themselves captured!
Next in part #8, Luke Skywalker and Wedge Antilles intentionally allow themselves to be captured by the Empire to discover how Colonel Bircher is tracking the Rebels’ movements. Meanwhile, Darth Vader sends a spy into his own ranks to find out the same thing. And Han and Chewie go blaster to blaster against Boba Fett!
Next in part #9, On her own, out in the wide galaxy, while her friends struggle to escape the Empire and evade bounty hunters, Princess Leia steers her X-wing toward the heart of all her grief—a place she longs for, but should probably never revisit: the shattered ruins of her homeworld of Alderaan.
Next in part #10, Luke Skywalker and Wedge Antilles have infiltrated an Imperial Destroyer. But now nine thousand stormtroopers are searching for them, and Darth Vader is aware of their presence. Completing their mission and escaping with their lives may be an either/or proposition! Meanwhile, the Rebel fleet prepares for an Imperial assault!
Next in part #11, Princess Leia’s stealth squadron is together again, just in time to fight for their lives. The Star Destroyer Devastator launches an all-out attack on the Rebel fleet! Meanwhile, Vader’s secret agent realizes what it could mean to fail the Dark Lord. And, on Coruscant, Han Solo’s luck may be changing—unless . . . well, unless it isn’t…
Finally in part #12, After a battle with the Empire, it is a time of reunions, departures, and reassessments. Han and Chewie return from their mission to Coruscant, Luke deals with love lost, and Leia must accept greater responsibilities within the Rebellion. But first she has an important announcement for the Rebel commanders… Wedge forms Rogue Squadron!
