Then more than two decades after the release of the original film, the series continued with a prequel trilogy; consisting of Episode I: The Phantom Menace, released on May 19, 1999; Episode II: Attack of the Clones, released on May 16, 2002; Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, released on May 19, 2005; and finally the epic saga concluded with Star Wars: The Force Awakens released on December 18, 2015; Star Wars: The Last Jedi was released on December 18, 2017. And Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker was released on December 20, 2019.

Now… a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away… Star Wars: X-Wing Rogue Squadron – Family Ties! After a New Republic victory at the Battle of Brentaal IV, defector Soontir Fel has joined Rogue Squadron. In return, the Rogues must return to Fel’s home planet of Corellia to find his wife. When the pilots reach the planet, they find that Syal Antilles Fel has fled. The remaining members of the Fel family approach the pilots to save another of their own. A young baby has been captured by a local crime boss in revenge for past wrongs. The Rogues must join forces with CorSec operatives Corran Horn and Iella Wessiri. After rescuing the young boy, the Fels flee the planet with the Rogues. Horn escorts them out of the system, beating back a force of pirates.
Story/Spoilers
In issue #28, “Chapter 1”, Wedge Antilles has some news that his fellow Rogues are not going to like. If they were hesitant to fly against Baron Fel, the Empire’s greatest fighter ace, how are they going to feel if they have to fly with him?
Finally in issue #29, “Chapter 2”, Corellia may have somehow managed to avoid the devastating war between the Empire and the Rebel Alliance, but the back streets of Coronet City have their own brand of villains, and Rogue Squadron can be as heroic on the ground as they are in the sky!
