Starship Troopers is a 1997 American military science fiction action film directed by Paul Verhoeven and written by Edward Neumeier based on the novel by Robert A. Heinlein. Originally based on a 1959 novel by Robert Heinlein, the ongoing saga of the Starship Troopers has been expanded on and adapted in several formats, including several movies, both live-action and animated TV shows, video games, and, of course, several comic books.

In Markosia’s second tale of the crack mobile infantry group known as Tamari’s Tigers, Will Tanner comes under immense pressure as he alone testifies against Sergeant Lock, who escapes the gallows only by the slimmest of margins. Tanner must go back to his team and his ship, forever looking over his shoulder. A sequel to Tony Lee’s Starship Troopers: Blaze of Glory series for Markosia, the story then continues in the third series installment, again from Markosia, entitled Starship Troopers: Damaged Justice.

Story/Spoilers
In issue #1D, The Starship Troopers are back in the thick of it once again. With Sergeant Lock imprisoned for murder, Will Tanner’s Tamari’s Tigers are sent on their next mission. When accidents that cannot be explained happen, Will realizes that someone wants him dead, and will do so at any cost including the safety of his friends.
