Starship Troopers is a 1997 American military science fiction action film directed by Paul Verhoeven and written by Edward Neumeier based on the novel by Robert A. Heinlein. Originally based on a 1959 novel by Robert Heinlein, the ongoing saga of the Starship Troopers has been expanded on and adapted in several formats, including several movies, both live-action and animated TV shows, video games, and, of course, several comic books. 

In Markosia’s third tale of the crack mobile infantry group known as Tamari’s Tigers, following the conclusion of Starship Troopers: Dead Man’s Hand, dishonorably discharged Will Tanner returns to Earth in disgrace, but still determined to prove he’s innocent of murdering his former commander. While the remaining members of Tamari’s Tigers continue their endless and seemingly hopeless war against the alien “Bugs”, Tanner gains some unexpected new allies (including his estranged brother and Drill Sergeant Zim) and prepares for what he hopes is his final confrontation with his nemesis, the former Lieutenant Lock.

Story/Spoilers:
In part #1, Following the shattering conclusion of Dead Man’s Hand, Will Tanner finds himself split from the Tigers as they fight for their lives – as he fights for his very soul back on Earth. But when you’ve lost everything – you never fear loss again.

Next in part #2, As the survivors of Tamari’s Tigers fight for their lives half a system away, Will Tanner, his brother Max, and Drill Sergeant Zim start a war on Terra against Sergeant Lock. But how much does he know, and who are Hell’s Belle and Lady Vas?

Next in part #3, While Sinclair’s Survivors fight for their very lives on a bug-ridden planet, on Earth it’s also a fight to the death. Plus, it’s the final showdown between Tanner and Lock – and this time, only one of them will be walking away!

Finally, in part #4, Things are rushing to an explosive conclusion as the 4-part series ends with a bang! It’s Tanner’s Tigers verses Lock’s spies on a world overrun with Bugs – and a major character will die! This final issue is guaranteed to change Will Tanner’s life in a way you never expected!
