Epic Comics presents 4 distinct Strange Combat Tales that are sure to give you trauma. First, Nazi Zombies are on the rampage during World War 1, then it’s War of the Worlds during the Civil War. Next, its World War 2 and something mystical is happening in Japan that could affect the outcome of the war. And finally, Medieval Knights appear in the modern day and fight giant reptilian monsters from the days of old.

Story/Spoilers
In issue #1, “March of the Dead”, It all begins when Allied forces enter the town of St. Amand. The ground is littered with the corpses of Nazi dead, but to the shock of the Allied forces, the dead suddenly rise against them. The frightened forces shoot wildly but their guns have no effect on the dead soldiers. Before long, the Allied soldiers have joined them in the hereafter. The Allies turn to Julian Drake, described as “the Wickedest Man Alive,” for help. They rightly believe that they are fighting the forces of magic here, and that only Drake’s talents can save them from a war against the undead. Drake initially refuses to help them, but when he finds that it means a chance to gain vengeance on Ursula Lichter, his former lover and pupil, he eagerly agrees…

Next in issue #2, “Rockets’ Red Glare”, When aliens from the future try to take over the planet Earth during the U.S. Civil War, will the union and the confederates unite to beat them? And can a black woman soldier from the future survive behind confederate lines?

Next in issue #3, “Tigers by the Tail”, Check out the origin of the Flying Tigers! These ace pilots in small, primitive fighter planes battle fiery mystical Chinese dragons in the sky.

Finally in issue #4, “Midnight Crusade”, When a cargo plane carrying an archaeological treasure lands in modern day New York, four Knights from the Crusades show up to fight the final battle in a war that’s been raging for six hundred years.
