Orphaned Kal-El, last survivor of Krypton, is raised by apes to become the mighty Lord of the Jungle.

Story/Spoilers
In issue #1, a tiny space-pod rocketing from a doomed, little-known world crash-lands in mysterious East Africa, interrupting a vicious mutiny off the jungle coast. Who would know that this single anomalous event would disrupt the known course of time and space and set the lives of two legendary heroes on very different paths? Orphaned Kal-El, last survivor of Krypton, is raised by apes to become the mighty Lord of the Jungle. John Greystoke, heir to fortune and privilege, becomes an adventuring wastrel draped in luxury, but not fulfillment. Now fate will draw them together in unexpected ways at the mythical lost city of Opar. Here each man will face great danger…and discover his true destiny!

Next in issue #2, the paths of Kal-El of the Apes and Lord Greystoke finally converge in the wilds of Kal-El’s jungle kingdom! They can both provide pieces to the puzzles of each other’s destinies, but odd evils are stirring, waiting patiently to reveal themselves and wreak havoc. Our heroes must make the trek to the Lost City of Opar, where they’ll have more action than they can handle. And what will happen when the latest jewel in the crown of the seductive lady La turns out to be kryptonite?!

Finally in issue #3, the stunning Elseworlds series by Chuck Dixon (Robin) and Carlos Meglia (Star Wars: Underworld) comes to its heated, action-fueled conclusion! Kal-El, Lord of the Apes, and gentleman adventurer John Greystoke find the magnificent Lost City of Opar… and are about to fulfill their true destinies! Along with Metropolis reporter Lois Lane and her street-smart friend Jane Clayton, our legendary heroes court unspeakable danger… possibly more than they can handle. In the city ruled by the sinister seductress, La, it’s wise to watch your back! When Kal-El’s life is threatened by a mysterious meteorite, Greystoke faces a lesson in nobility that will affect the very core of his being. Both heroes will be changed forever… if they survive!
