While investigating a mysterious alien ship in the jungles of Central America, Superman becomes the victim of a power-draining virus. But when the Predator senses the arrival of a worthy opponent, the alien instantly targets the Man of Steel as his next prey. Now, a weakened and dazed Superman must find a way to defeat an unstoppable monster or witness the first step in the Predator’s domination of Earth.

Stories/Spoilers
First in part #1, Weakened by a virus from the Predators’ home world, the rapidly fading Man of Steel struggles to defeat a nearly unstoppable hunter whose deadly mission threatens all life on Earth. In the dense forests of Central America, a S.T.A.R. Labs research team makes an incredible discovery: a spacecraft of unknown origin, which could point humanity toward new technological advances – or spell its doom. The Man of Steel quickly joins the team, only to find that the ship is somehow draining his superpowers, and that a terrorist organization plans to use it to commit murder on a global scale. And as Superman struggles to focus his waning power, the ship’s owner returns…

Next in part #2, With his powers greatly reduced by an alien virus, the Man of Steel must stop the carrier of the plague…the Predator! …as well as a maniac who threatens to wipe out a huge chunk of the population! The Man of Steel is dangerously weakened by a virus of alien origin! Now, he accompanies the S.T.A.R. Labs research team as they escape the prison of a doctor bent on worldwide genocide. Their flight into the dense South American jungle is short-lived, though, as one of their own turn’s traitors. After a violent encounter with an alien killer that leaves him even weaker than before, Superman must return to the doctor’s lair to rescue both the research team and Lois Lane…

Finally in part #3, It’s a multiple showdown in the jungles of Central America as Superman must simultaneously…overcome the alien virus that has sapped his powers; defeat a deranged scientist’s experiment in genetic “cleansing”; and keep all sorts of people away from a deadly Predator! Still battling a mysterious alien virus, Superman gathers his waning strength for one last effort to stop the mad plans of the genocidal Dr. Ward. But while the Man of Steel battles his way into the madman’s stronghold, a deadly Predator from another world is stalking him…
