This 25th Anniversary limited hardcover not only brings back some of the “TMNT classics” of the early years, but Kevin Eastman was also able to re-master, re-touch, and with a few very special stories – color them – for the very first time!
This limited-edition hardcover (signed & numbered to 500) includes an original “turtle head” sketch by Kevin Eastman and was only available at the Heavy Metal Booth during the 2009 San Diego Comic-Con. In the debut appearance of Mirage’s one-issue “Micro-Series,” Raph is sparring with Michaelangelo when he loses his cool and goes after his good-natured brother with a wrench. Leonardo breaks up the skirmish and sends Raph outside to “cool off.” As he’s patrolling the rooftops, Raphael wonders if he’s nuts and ponders his inability to control his temper. Meanwhile, we see Casey Jones lifting weights and watching television. The mighty Casey decides that the police need help cleaning up the city, so he dons his hockey mask, grabs his golf bag full of sports equipment and heads out to defend the city from “vile scum.” Casey quickly runs into some muggers and proceeds to stomp them. Raph sees the fight and feels that Casey is going overboard with his punishment and tries to stop the pounding before the crooks are murdered. Mr. Jones does not take kindly to Raph’s interference, and a fight breaks out between the two. Raph knocks Casey to the ground and Casey surrenders – only to “sucker punch” Raph with a golf club and escape. Raph is dazed and decides that this crazy vigilante has to be stopped, so he heads out in pursuit moments later. Casey spots two thieves stealing a car radio and quickly dispatches them. As Casey prepares to beat the crooks into mincemeat, Raph catches up with him. The two renew their battle and Raph knocks Casey down again, telling him that not all crimes are deserving of “capital punishment.” This has no effect on Jones, and he lashes out at Raph and flees into the streets. Raphael has a moment of reservation – should he risk being seen by people or remain hidden and allow Casey to escape? Raphael decides to pursue Jones and is spotted by some alarmed and confused drivers. Casey hides in a park and attacks Raphael when he appears. The battle is fierce, and Raph once again gets the better of Jones, who finally surrenders for real. The two have a quick discussion. Raph tells Casey that killing people for stealing tape decks is crazy. “Yeah, right – I’m crazy!” Jones says, “But somethin’ tells me you ain’t above takin’ somebody out if they tick you off!” “I have a temper, true,” Raph replies, “But at least I try to control it – you don’t!” The boys continue the argument until they hear some cries for help, and then they head off to battle the criminals in a tentative alliance…
Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Volume One (1988) #5
“Complete Carnage & Radical”
Writer: Jim Lawson & Ryan Brown
Artist: Jim Lawson
Inker: Ryan Brown
Cover by: Ryan Brown & Steven Lavigne
The issue begins by telling the origins of Complete Carnage and Radical, two super powered beings who got their abilities when they were each struck by the same bolt of lightning. The villain, Complete Carnage, was a construction worker, who became a rock-like monster after the incident. His rival, the heroic Radical, had been jogging through Central Park when she met her destiny and became infused with liquid energy. The two soon became enemies. Radical bested her opponent by tossing him miles into the air towards the North Pole. Complete Carnage didn’t reach his destination, however – instead, he bounced off a passing 747 and landed on the grounds of a religious cult in upper New York state. The cultists took in Carnage and treated him as their prophet, while training him in martial arts. Soon enough, Complete Carnage mastered the ability to pass through steel and concrete, and also absorb energy from the materials. With his newfound powers, CC set out to get revenge upon Radical. April and the Turtles are riding along in the van when a bike messenger cuts in front of them – April slams the breaks just in time! The bicyclist continues on, but suddenly a hand emerges from the pavement and grabs the front tire, sending the rider headfirst over the handlebars – but the woman lands on her feet with acrobatic flair. Complete Carnage then appears and attacks the bicyclist, who sheds her street clothes to reveal the costume beneath – it’s Radical! A fight breaks out amongst the superheroes and the TMNT decide that they’ll have to help the woman – so April pilots the van and smashes it into Complete Carnage! The crash sends Carnage through a wall, but he quickly reemerges and knocks Radical unconscious and then flies off with her. April and the TMNT give chase in the van. Later, Complete Carnage has imprisoned Radical in a cement mixer inside an old factory. The villain plans to seal Radical inside a concrete block and then absorb her powers through it, but before he can begin the process, the Turtles arrive and save the super heroine. A battle ensues, and Carnage uses his ability to pass through walls to good effect, dishing out punishment without receiving any. Eventually CC grabs Radical from behind, but the woman catches the villain’s arm and rips it off! Radical then flies to a park (so Carnage can’t reabsorb his arm through the concrete floor) and hides it in some bushes. CC is hot on her heels and lands behind her, demanding his appendage back. The TMNT arrive and the fight is renewed. Finally, Radical uses her “particle beam power” and charges Complete Carnage – a huge explosion rips the air, and both super-powered beings are apparently obliterated – only small cement chips remain. The TMNT gather the remaining shards of Complete Carnage and mail them all over the country to try to prevent the monster from regenerating. In the final panels, we see Carnage’s arm come to life. It crawls to the highway, where it attempts to hitchhike across the country, in hopes of rejoining its body.

This issue opens with the news reporter, Jim McNaughton, explaining the strange situation going on at the T.C.R.I. (Techno-Cosmic Research Institute) building. Three days earlier a mysterious beam of light had erupted from the roof of the structure, and when police came to investigate, they were promptly shut out by heavy steel plates that sealed all doors and windows. The local police and National Guard are plotting their next step when another incredible beam of energy strikes the rooftop, lighting the city for several blocks. On the crowded streets below, chaos erupts, and the National Guard tell McNaughton that they’ve been ordered to “blast their way in.” Inside the building, the TMNT, Fugitoid and three Triceraton warriors are recovering from being teleported by the Utroms’ Transmat device. As soon as the Triceratons have regained their bearings, they attack in effort to seize the Transmat. A huge brawl breaks out and several Utroms are hurt in the fight. Finally, the Triceraton trio is taken out and the TMNT are reunited with their mentor, Master Splinter. April is on the street, and she meets a friendly Guardsman who tells her what’s going on. Knowing that she can be of no assistance, Miss O’Neil heads for home, hoping that the Turtles will be there when she gets back. Master Splinter explains to the Turtles how he had battled the Mousers until he fell unconscious and was then found by the Utroms, who brought him to their building to heal. Unfortunately, the Turtles had thought the worst when they saw their Sensei in the stasis tube (TMNT #4), and their outburst damaged the Transmat device (and sent the Green Team to Fugitoid’s world). Splinter explains that the unhappy Utroms had no intention of rescuing them due to their behavior, but he managed to convince them to bring the TMNT back via the Transmat. The Triceratons were brought along by accident. As Leo questions the aliens’ motives, a lone Utrom walks in and explains how they came to Earth. Twenty years ago, their ship had crash landed and killed one third of their crew. The survivors managed to integrate themselves into American society thanks to their high-tech android disguises. The crew took jobs and quickly amassed enough wealth to buy the building that would become their headquarters. The Utroms salvaged what material they could in effort to build their Translocation Device – the Transmat. Unfortunately, while working on their machine, the visitors had an accident 15 1/2 years earlier. The Utroms were bringing the last load of supplies from their crashed ship to their abode when a blind man walked in front of their truck, causing them to swerve out of the way. This violent action dislodged a canister filled with alien ooze and it flew into the street, striking a young man in the head. The container continued to bounce down the street until it hit an aquarium full of turtles that a boy was holding, shattering it. The turtles and the canister fell into the sewers, where the reptiles were bathed in the strange glowing ooze. It was then that Splinter found them… and the rest is history. The Utroms finally managed to contact their home world and were asked to remain in New York to continue observation of the planet. Tragically, the Turtles accidental use of the Transmat had caused the beams of light that have alerted the local police and National Guard, so the Utroms are in a serious bind. They offer to teleport the Turtles home, but it’s at that moment that the National Guard attack the T.C.R.I. building. As Honeycutt works with the Utroms to program the Transmat to get everyone to safety, the soldiers battle the aliens’ various robotic guards (who are firing stun weapons, so no men are killed in the battle). Just as the Guardsman are about to enter the Transmat chamber, all of the Utroms are teleported to safety. The TMNT are angry that they weren’t being sent home but decide that they must follow the Utroms or be captured by the National Guard. The Turtles and Master Splinter enter the Transmat and disappear. The Guard break into the chamber to find it deserted. As they marvel at the sights of the alien technology, a computer announces that the building will self-destruct in five minutes. April is home alone watching the events on television. She learns that the building collapsed on itself, but no one was injured. Just as she begins to worry about the boys, she hears a loud thump emanating from her bathroom. She runs to the room to see what the trouble is, only to find the four Turtles and Master Splinter in here bathtub. Honeycutt had managed to properly program the Transmat device after all!

Raphael and Casey are caught in the middle of a gunfight, in which Casey’s newly painted mural is destroyed. The wounded man, Buck Dooney, tells them who shot him, and that Casey and Raphael can find him in a nearby pool hall, Vern’s Pool Hall Royal! After calling an ambulance for Dooney, they go to the pool hall and find a gun storage room in the back, but are discovered while breaking in. After a short fight Raphael is captured by the criminals. Casey is separated from him, but soon returns wearing a big bulletproof suit. Unfortunately, even though the suit saves his life, it’s too cumbersome to move in, so he ends up falling through the floor, triggering a catastrophic structural collapse of the pool hall’s floor that drags the rest of the people in the room with him. The police find the unconscious criminals and arrest them while Casey and Raphael slip away.

As the story begins, we find several criminals discussing their control over the local restaurants. Beancurd, an underling, gloats that all of the eateries in the city are now using the villains’ cut-rate spices and frozen foods when his boss, Gorko, angrily interjects that they control all but one… and Gorko wants to mend this situation. Beancurd states he has a plan to remove this “thorn” from their garden when he’s interrupted by a creature that is caged behind the men. It frantically grasps at some spice on the table that the men are seated at. Gorko elbows the beast in the face and knocks it senseless. Another underling asks the warlord what the animal is, and Gorko explains that it was once a man named Fong, now transformed. “A casualty of eating the All Spice -choke- straight out of da can!” the mobster growls derisively. Cut to the harbor, where the TMNT are arriving in a boat. The Turtles are hungry, and a local boy agrees to take them to the best take out restaurant in the city in exchange for some egg rolls. The Turtles agree and the child leads them to Hu-Shang’s place. As the lad goes in to pick up the food, a car arrives out front and a group of punks jump out, exclaiming that this is the place that Beancurd ordered them to trash. The hoodlums begin tagging the front window of the place as the Turtles watch with little concern – until the boy emerges from the restaurant with the food and a punk slap him on the head, causing the kid to drop the food. Now that their ally and food have been assaulted, the Turtles leap into action and kick the gang’s collective butt. The punks pile back into their car and escape. As the vehicle zooms away, we see a young man standing in the street, decked out in white, wearing shades and brandishing a hobo stick. As the Turtles wonder what the conflict is all about, an old man comes out of the restaurant and cries over being vandalized yet again. The man in white, Chang Lee, approaches and tells his uncle that he has come to visit. Hu-Shang tells Chang that he is pleased to see him and is grateful for his friends help, when Chang explains that the Turtles are new friends to both of them. Lee then invites the TMNT into the restaurant so they can be honored guests. The Turtles are only too happy to oblige. The TMNT feast for an hour and offer their compliments to Lee and his uncle “Rocky.” Lee explains that his uncle makes the healthiest food around when the doors slam open and Beancurd arrives with more thugs in tow. Hu-Shang greets the men and asks them what they want now, and the crook demands that the restaurant begin using the All Spice. Hu-Shang states that he prides himself on “serving only the finest, freshest, most wholesome foods available” and refuses. Beancurd threatens to burn the restaurant down and a fight breaks out. Chang defeats the mob, and they leave, vowing vengeance. Beancurd reports Hu-Shang’s refusal to use the All Spice to Gorko and also tells him of the strange ninjas that the old man has working for him. Gorko decides that he’ll have to hire a “true destruction machine” to take care of the troublemakers. We then cut to an imposing building and find within it a huge man named Buff, who is beginning a work-out while dozens of admirers watch him. Once his training is finished, Buff lounges as his female admirer’s fawn over him. Buff orders his lunch, but much to the behemoth’s dismay, the cook brings him a cooked turtle. Buff freaks out and has a flashback that reveals how he was traumatized by turtles as a baby. Buff screams “I hate turtles!” and smashes the plate out of the server’s hands and then destroys a wall in a fit of rage. Meanwhile, the TMNT have left the restaurant and head to their hotel, which turns out to be a dive. In the morning the Turtles decide to head over to Hu-Shang’s place for a bite to eat, but when they arrive, they find that the eatery has been set on fire. Chang is there and states that it had to have been Beancurd who set the fire. Chang had taken his uncle to visit his brother for a few days, and when he got back, he found the fire blazing. Chang and the Turtles put out the flames and rebuild the restaurant for Hu-Shang. After their work is done, the boys head out to repay Gorko for his treachery. The Turtles and Chang arrive at Gorko’s place and kick the shell out of all those who oppose them. As Chang is facing off with Gorko, Buff arrives and immediately bursts into another fit of rage when he spots the Turtles. As the TMNT prepare to fight the enraged hulk, Chang stops them and tells them this is a family matter, and he must settle the score himself. Lee fights Buff and manages to win, although it’s a hard-won victory. The Turtles grab Beancurd and Gorko and tie them up. The two criminals beg for mercy and Leo says, “We’ve got plans for you slimes!” On the final page of the tale, we see the Turtles and Chang dining with Hu-Shang at his restaurant. Buff is now the busboy, Gorko is a walking billboard advertising the restaurant and Beancurd is the “mop master.”

In the sewers beneath 49th Street, the Turtles are having trouble navigating. Suddenly, Raph hears Metallica’s “Master of Puppets” echoing from somewhere in the sewers and follows it. The Turtles stumble upon a massive gang meeting full of thugs with an axe to grind. The grungy leader expositions that some big-time boss has been organizing all the gangs in the Projects into a single, unified force. They’ve been invited to a “meeting” over at the Wasteland where they’ll be issued an ultimatum by the unified gang: “Join us or be destroyed”. The grungy leader isn’t having this and proclaims that they’ll show up to the meeting, but they’ll be ready for war. The Turtles split, hoping to stop this gang war before it begins. The Turtles head to the Projects and after asking the right questions to the right people, they find the (upscale) building housing the big-time boss behind the gang unification. While his brothers wait on the roof, Leo drops into the penthouse to visit the boss. The boss isn’t especially surprised to see Leo, as he has several connections within the Foot Clan. Leo explains that he represents a third party that doesn’t wish to see the unified gang from the projects invade other territories. The boss offers a contest: four on four, if his gang wins then Leo must steer clear of his operation from now on, but if Leo wins then he will remain within the projects. Leo agrees to the terms and promises to meet him in the wasteland tomorrow night. The next night, at the Wasteland, all the gangs have shown up, ready to fight. The boss of the unified Projects gang summons his four ninjas while the grungy leader of the separatist gang is prepared to throw down full force. Suddenly, Leo and the Turtles emerge, and Leo offers to fight on behalf of the separatist gang. The grungy leader disagrees until Leo subdues him and forces him to concede. Leo then introduces his “gang” as “the 49th Street Stompers”. With that out of the way, the boss of the unified gang issues the weapons of the match (padded staffs) and announces the rules (whoever is knocked off their feet is disqualified, last man standing wins, no deathblows allowed). The Turtles then face off against the quartet of ninja. Very quickly, three of the ninjas and three of the Turtles are knocked down, leaving only Leo to fight against a lone female ninja in a silly full-body purple latex getup. Leo outmatches her, breaking her staff in two. Enraged, the ninja attempts to stab him with the pointed end of her broken staff. Leo effortlessly flips her onto her rear, winning the match. The match over, the boss of the unified gang admits defeat and promises to restrict his operation to the Projects… for now. He muses that perhaps they’ll meet again someday as the Turtles split the scene.

Casey Jones is patrolling the sleepy streets of Northampton, Massachusetts looking for some crimes to prevent. Northampton is nothing like New York City, however, so the mighty Casey is occupying his spare time as a vigilante by narrating events as if he were Mike Hammer. Jones is a little homesick for the Big Apple, but he’s also reminiscing about the good times he had in this town as a kid with his cousin Sid. As Casey walks familiar ground, he passes by Louie’s Variety store and is stunned by what he sees… the brass cow that once served as a rooftop landmark for the business has been stolen! Jones is enraged and gets to work on the case right away. As Casey interviews Louie for details, a local cop walks in and assures the shopkeeper that the theft was probably just a college prank and that the cow will show up soon. Casey gets angry about the police officer’s blasé attitude, which only angers the cop, who tells Jones to “Butt out – pronto!” Casey storms off, vowing to find the cow. The following morning, we find April frantically getting ready for work and asking where Casey is. Just then Casey walks through the door, icicles hanging from his hat and chin. Jones moans that he’s been out all night looking for “the great cow” and collapses. Fortunately, it’s nothing serious, and Casey tries to explain about the theft, but April is running late and hurries off to work. Cut to the Blue Bonnet Diner, where April is waiting tables. As Ms. O’Neil is going through her stubs, she overhears two men plotting something about a cow. One of the men slaps the other and tells him that if he has any info he should leave it at the front desk of Hotel Northampton, room 213. April is suspicious and tries to remember where she heard about a cow earlier in the day when she sees the newspaper headlines – the top story is about the missing cow! Back at the farmhouse, Casey is trying to get the disinterested Turtles to help him when April calls. O’Neil tells Jones about the conversation she overheard, but unfortunately the man who slapped his partner overhears April’s phone conversation and becomes alarmed. Casey takes down the hotel information and slams the phone down in his excitement over having a lead. April is unhappy because she wanted to go along. Casey gets to the hotel and tries to get the woman at the front desk to tell him who’s in room 213, but all he manages to do is get thrown out of the joint. As Jones sits on the stoop outside wondering what to do next, April arrives. April thinks she can have better luck getting the information, and she goes inside. As Fate would have it, just as O’Neil gets into the lobby, the slapping man (whose name is Howard) walks through with another fellow. April overhears the two making plans. Apparently, Howard works for the older Texan man and they’re making elaborate plans for a graduation party. Later that night, April, Casey and the TMNT arrive at the parking lot of the Hotel Northampton. Casey has asked the Turtles to search room 213, and while the guys aren’t happy about doing it, they agree. Jones and O’Neil crash the posh graduation party inside. The Turtles find a bunch of paperwork and photographs of the Texan, Howard and the Brass Cow – however, they also discover they’re in room 215 – the wrong place! As April is prowling the party looking for clues, she’s spotted by Howard. O’Neil darts out into the lobby, where she’s accosted by three men, Mikal Smengie and his brothers Luka and Luka (a Bob Newhart joke for those of you old enough to remember his show). Unfortunately, April has stumbled into a rendezvous between the Smengie Brothers and the Texan… a ten-million-dollar meeting that they all want to keep secret. Howard gags April and tells the brothers to take her with them. Howard also gives Mikal a briefcase full of money and an address. The Texan complains about loose ends and Howard says that he’ll take care of things. Back in the hotel room, the TMNT decide that this case is too complicated, and the police need to be notified. As they head out, they see April being kidnapped. The guys scramble down to the parking lot, but they’re too late to stop the van holding their friend from escaping. The Turtles pile into their truck and head off to chase the van. Casey goes into a rest room inside the hotel to gather his thoughts. He sits on top of a toilet in an empty stall as two guys come in. Jones overhears the two talking about a “prize cow” at Norman Whitty’s place on Route 116. After the men leave, Casey dashes out to the parking lot to get his truck so he can investigate… except the truck is gone! Undaunted, Casey hails a cab. Meanwhile the Turtles have followed the van to an old garage in the woods. Inside are the three brothers carrying weapons, a bound April and a well wrapped cow. As April berates her captors and warns them that she has friends, the Turtles burst in and kick the shell outta the Smengies. Once the brothers are tied to a post, the Turtles interrogate them. The men talk to one another in Slovakian, which angers Raph and he threatens them. Under duress, Mikal explains that the brass cow was stolen from his family by their other brother Louie before the revolution. They’ve returned to steal the brass cow back and to sell it to Mr. Cudworth, who collects antique cows. April finds the story dubious, as ten million dollars is involved. Raph gets even angrier and decides to bash the cow to bits. Mikal then panics and exclaims that the cow is solid gold, and that they had stolen it before the revolution so that the new dictator wouldn’t be able to use its wealth. They now want to sell it and share the wealth with their people. Leo is suspicious, but he wants to see how things will play out before calling the police. In particular, Leonardo is interested in the Texan’s role in these events. Leo hatches a plan that will allow them to get the real story. Back at the hotel, the Texan receives a phone call from Leonardo, who tells the rich man that the deal goes down tonight and that they want an additional 5 million dollars. This does not please the Texan, but he gathers up his forces and heads out. Meanwhile, Casey has arrived at Norman’s place on Route 116 in the taxi. Casey is jubilated about finding the cow and heads into the barn with glee – only to discover that the cow inside is real! Just then, Norman shows up with a shotgun and yells at Casey to get away from his prize-winning heifer. Jones fast talks his way out of things and piles back into the cab, ordering the very unhappy driver to take him back to the hotel. Back at the Smengie garage, the Turtles are all decked out in trench coats and firearms, awaiting their meeting with the Texan. The men show up and the Turtles demand the money. Howard asks where the Smengie Brothers are and the Texan demands to see the cow. Mike unwraps the cow only to reveal that it’s a fake! As tempers flare, the Smengies crash through the garage door in a flatbed truck, with the real “brass” cow chained to the bed. A short fire fight erupts between the Texan’s men and the Turtles, but the millionaire and his henchmen take off to chase the Smengies. The Turtles pile into their own truck and bolt out in hot pursuit. As the Smengie’s truck barrels down the road, they pass Casey’s cab. Jones grabs the wheel of the car and spins it around. The driver is scared to death and Casey screams at him to “follow that cow!” The cab gains on the truck and Casey jumps out onto the hood of the taxi and leaps onto the cow. Jones causes Mikal to crash the vehicle into a ditch and shouts, “You pukes are under arrest!” Just then the Texan shows up, and Howard yells, “Correction! You’re all under arrest!” As the millionaire wonders what’s going on, Howard explains that he’s an undercover secret service agent. It turns out that the Texan (whose name isn’t Cudworth, it’s actually Emil Bruzeniak) is in the business of buying and selling stolen national treasures. Howard has been working for Bruzeniak for two years, waiting to build enough evidence to bust him. Howard calls in his backup and two helicopters appear. The TMNT and April arrive on the scene. The Turtles bail out of the truck as April drives up to see what’s going on. When April arrives, Howard wants to hear why she and Casey are involved in the case. Jones explains everything in long detail and Howard demands to talk to the four men who helped April escape. April tells the secret agent that her allies wish to remain anonymous and pleads that they all be let go, as everything turned out fine. The agent begrudgingly admits that Casey and April helped solve the case and agrees to forget about their friends’ involvement, filing it under “unmentionables.” Casey and April walk off arm in arm as the criminals are led off in handcuffs. The Turtles have witnessed everything from the safety of the woods. “That’s us, huh guys,” Leo quips, “the Unmentionables.” “Ain’t it the truth.” adds Mikey.

As the issue begins, the TMNT are battling pirates on the high sea. Once the Turtles have swabbed the deck with the foul freebooters, Don pulls an odd cube out of his belt. We discover that the cube is a time travel device that the guys got from Renet, Lord Simultaneous’ not-so-able assistant, who we met back in TMNT #8. Don then recants the tale of how the cube arrived in the Turtles’ lair that morning. While the guys were sitting around complaining about being bored, the “anamorphically autosynchronous” hexahedron materialized from thin air right before their eyes. Along with the cube came a warning note from Renet… a note that the TMNT didn’t bother to read. Instead, Don set the date on the cube to 1500 A.D. and the guys were instantly teleported back in time to the deck of a Portuguese Man o’ War. The Turtles discover exactly what “anamorphically autosynchronous” means, as they’ve been mysteriously changed while on their journey – not only are the Turtles decked out in swashbuckler garb, but Don now has a wooden leg, Leo has an eye patch, Raph has rotten teeth and Mikey has a… handle-bar mustache. The Captain of the Man o’ War welcomes the Turtles help in capturing the pirates… and the rest is history. Don then activates the hexahedron again and the Turtles are teleported back to their lair – only to discover that they’ve come back a bit too early in the timeline and are now confronted by themselves! Don realizes that they can’t exist together in the same time frame just as a “Timequake” erupts and teleports the Turtles to a new era. When the dust settles the TMNT find themselves in the sewers, still encased in their eggshells. Fortunately, their legs have broken free and there are cracks in the shells for them to see through… cracks that reveal a hungry alligator bearing down on them! The Turtles dive into the water, with the gator in hot pursuit! Fortunately, before anyone is eaten, another Timequake erupts and carries our heroes away. Now the Turtles find themselves garbed in Medieval armor and weaponry… although Donatello is no longer with the group! As Raph, Leo and Mike collect themselves, their met by the Knights of the Round Table, who decide to attack the TMNT! The battle doesn’t go well for the Turtles, and just as Mikey is about to meet the sharp end Lancelot’s blade, Donatello arrives to save him. As soon as the battle is over, another Timequake sends the lads back to the dawn of man. The Turtles, now dressed in skins and armed with prehistoric weapons, are beset by a band of hungry ape men. Donatello can’t control his bestial temper and wipes out the entire tribe! Once the dust has settled, Don fears that he’s doomed humanity by destroying their ancestors. Right on cue, the worst Timequake yet erupts and carries our heroes… Back to the present, safe and sound in their sewer lair, as if nothing has ever happened. Once Donatello realizes that none of their actions in the past have had any effect on the present, he reaches for the cube once more. “So much for the past,” Don states as he fumbles with the hexahedron, “So, you guys ready to check out the future?” The remaining three Turtles lunge for their brother, weapons readied.
