All Variant B Covers by: Stjepan Sejic
Terminator 2: Judgment Day is a 1991 American science-fiction action film directed by James Cameron, who co-wrote the script with William Wisher. Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton, Robert Patrick, and Edward Furlong, it is the sequel to The Terminator (1984) and is the second installment in the Terminator franchise. In its plot, the malevolent artificial intelligence Skynet sends a Terminator—a highly advanced killing machine—back in time to 1995 to kill the future leader of the human resistance John Connor when he is a child. The resistance sends back a less-advanced, reprogrammed Terminator to protect Connor and ensure the future of humanity.
And now, Dynamite Entertainment presents Terminator 2: Infinity! Another excellent expansion in the Terminator universe, this time following the T-Infinity as it tries to reset the timeline.
Story/Spoilers
First in issue #1B, He said he’d be back, and Dynamite’s got him – only it’s not just the T-800 that will be featured in the all-new Terminator 2 comic book series, but the T-1000, and the all-new T-Infinity! Legendary Transformers writer, Simon Furman, is at the helm, along with New Battlestar Galactica artist Nigel Raynor, as they unleash the ‘Trial by Fire!’ In this opening Dynamite Terminator 2 event, Skynet sets out to destroy the Terminators in the past to preserve their (mostly) human-free future! Starring all of the familiar characters from the smash film, in the dark, post-apocalyptic future as seen in the films!
Next in issue #2B, Things heat up as the T-Infinity continues on its quest to cleanse the timeline and start fresh on its quest to rid the world of the human race! Meanwhile, John Connor and his new T-800 friend ‘Uncle Bob’ begin to assemble the rag-tag survivors into an army of resistance fighters – but if they discover that ‘Bob’ is Actually a Terminator, things are going to go from bad to worse!
Next in issue #3B, John and the survivors of the nuclear winter move out of Los Angeles, heading east and preparing to broadcast to the world at large. As they gather up more of the resistance, in the eyes of the survivors, John sees a glimmer of something that wasn’t there before… hope!
Next in issue #4B, John Connor and his newfound army continues to attack Skynet under the guidance of ‘Uncle Bob,’ a T-800 loyal to John and his human companions. But what will they do when Uncle Bob faces the T-Infinity in a battle in which only one of the deadly killing machines is able to walk away from in one piece?
Finally in issue #5B, John Connor faces a trial by fire as he and his human resistance face their most desperate hour! But, without ‘Uncle Bob’ at his side, does John have what it takes to take down the T-Infinity?
