On August 29, 1997, the machines declared war on mankind. A computer network called Skynet gained sentience and decided that its first act of free will would be to destroy its hated creators. It used mankind’s own nuclear arsenal against them, then began the slow eradication of the survivors using an army of robots known as Terminators.

That bleak future was supposedly prevented by Sarah Connor in the time-traveling adventures of Terminator and Terminator 2. But as this four-issue sequel comic mini-series begins, evidence is gathering that dark days are yet to come. The skeleton of the smashed Terminator has been recovered by scientists who are using it to push forward the research that would eventually lead to Terminators being developed. Meanwhile, three new Terminators have appeared from the future determined to stop Sarah before she can threaten their future existence.

Story/Spoilers
In issue #0, “No Fate”, Sarah and John Connor fend off a deadly trio of terminators in the present! Script by Dan Abnett. Meanwhile, John Connor and the Human Resistance race against time to destroy SKYNET in the future!

Next issue #1, “Lost & Found”, The T-1000 may have been destroyed in a pit of molten steel, but Sarah Connor isn’t convinced the nightmare is over as she escapes the long arm of a government agency. And now she must ensure the safety of her son, John, who is destined to lead the Human Resistance against the Machines in the future war. What does SKYNET have in mind this time to make sure she fails??

Next in issue #2, “Search Mode”, They’re back! And this time there are three of them! While Sarah and John dodge the police and FBI, they attempt to contact Tarissa Dyson, the widow of Dr. Miles Dyson (Cyberdine Director of Special Projects). Will Sarah Connor be able to convince Tarissa Dyson that Miles’ death was necessary? Or will Tarissa betray her to the government agents as revenge for causing Miles’ death? In the meantime, SKYNET’s children, the trio of terminators, have come back in time to protect and ensure that the ultimate computer is actually built.

Next in issue #3, “Judgement Impaired”, With every ounce of courage, determination and inner strength, Sarah Connor has twice survived attacks by terminators to save the life of her son John, who will be vital to the human victory in the future. Now, the saga continues with Sarah and John on the run from FBI agents Mossberg and Wetherby, and soon to meet up with three terminators. Not to mention that they have stumbled upon the dark design behind SKYNET’s latest time-jump mission, the implications of which make their own survival all but irrelevant.

Finally in issue #4, “Genesis & Revelations”, Sarah Connor and Tarissa Dyson, the widow of the man who would’ve created SKYNET, get to the heart of the secret government installation…and discover the true horror of the conspiracy underway. And something inhuman is right there with them! Meanwhile, John Connor, the future’s brightest hope, is lost, alone and face-to-face with a terminator programmed to destroy him once and for all!
