Story (Spoilers!)
In part #1, “Shadows”, In the aftermath of the death of Prince Conn, Conan is at his most vulnerable! So an assassination attempt just might work! But when Conan’s Royal Wine Steward is involved, it’s no ordinary plot against the king!

Next in part #2, “The Black Dragons”, At last, King Conan has a clue to his son’s killers! But with a deadly poison coursing through his blood, he’s too sick to go after them! That’s where “The Black Dragons” come in! And they’re the most fearsome fighting force in the whole Hyborian Age!

Next in part #3, “Ordeal”, Why would King Conan protect the killer of his son, Prince Conn? There’s more here than meets the eye! We’ll give you a hint–somebody left a sinister clue to the mystery last issue!

Next in part #4, “Fragments: A Witch’s Tale”, Conan’s son is kidnapped! Where is he? It’s too much for even King Conan to handle alone! But when he and the Black Dragons take off after Taurus, they encounter the least expected obstacle of all!

Finally in part #5, “Daggers”, Not only would Conan’s daughter rather marry a Black Dragon than her betrothed–but her intended father-in-law, Baron Maloric, wants to see Conan dead!
