Story/Spoilers:
In issue #1, “Death at First Bite – Part One”, The Final Plague has begun, and with it mankind’s final hours. Can a rural Iowan family survive the initial onslaught of crazed, rabid animals, presumably the product of a mutated super-virus? Or will they succumb to the plague that threatens to end all life as we know it?

Next in issue #2, “Death at First Bite – Part Two”, The Final Plague continues! A mutated rabies virus continues to spread across the planet, infecting, killing, and re-animating animals both great and small. Can mankind survive? And what will happen when the first humans are infected? Will they fall, only to rise again?

Next in issue #3, “Death at First Bite – Part Three”, Iowa, New Jersey, and now the world! The scope of The Final Plague begins to take shape, and no one, nowhere, is safe. Will Robert Michaels be the first to survive a bite from the infected? Can Drs. Stohr and Friedman find a cure before it’s too late? Is this really humanity’s final hours?

Next in issue #4, “Death at First Bite – Part Four”, Monkeys on the loose in New Jersey! The hounds are released in Iowa! And in Chicago – Lions, Tigers, and Bears! Oh my! The final plague continues to spread. Panic has gripped the globe, and the world begins to burn.

Finally in issue #5, “Death at First Bite – Part Five”, As the opening arc comes to close, can Drs Stohr and Friedman escape the overrun facility at Lakehurst? Will the Michaels be forced from their family farm? And a major character falls! The end is just the beginning for this zombie animal epic!
